Thailand’s Songkran Road Death Toll Reaches 100 After Just Three Days

Anyone that has had the pleasure of driving the highways during this Holliday knows what a joy it is to see cars whipping past you on the highway, and driving highway speeds in the turning lane. Like watching a horror movie in real life. -

China's Zero-Dollar Trade Sparks Thailand's Economic Woes
Gknrd replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I am always shaking my head. Thailand opens their arms to China, pushed the US out almost completely. Then complains when they do not invest in Thailand. And now China has its own problems. Really Thailand picked their partner China yeas ago and are stuck with it now. Really not an option at this point. Why would any company want to invest in Thailand with them openly courting China. Hope it works out for you guys but Thailand is a thing of the past for savvy US investors.- 39 replies

Thailand Tackles US Tariffs: Plans for Trade Reform Unveiled

Well, I trust Thailand. 100%. Problem solved. -
I think you are dead wrong! Reshoring to Mexico, South America and the US. It will take 10 years, but SE Asia will be cut out of the process. You can gripe all you want, doesn't change things. In the meantime all the retiree's in Thailand will keep being squeezed. Buckel up boys.

Joke of the day! American tourists have been shorting Thailand for years. 24hr's on a plane for a vacation? So 48hr's in the air for a two week vacation? Hahaha. 5 hours to pristine beaches in Mexico, South America.

Trump Starts Global Tariff Wall, Thailand Hit with 36% Tax
Gknrd replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Haha, yes that did not last long.. Does not bother me what so ever. It will bounce again. Winning? I sold most a few months ago. Personally I see it going down another 10%. That is when I will start buying again. But, I did buy a little Friday. Been waiting for this for months now. Trump does not disappoint. Personally I am going to start "cost averaging" Time to start now. I will win in the long run. Poor investors from China are getting clobbered. But, they have been for years now. Been meaning to ask here where all the China bulls are now. A few years ago I said China was fixing to tank and never come back and I was told I was crazy and it was the best market in the world... hahaha Those guys are sitting in enough red ink they will never recover. -

Yep dead cat will bounce for sure. And yeah a good time to sell off dead wood. Before we see another dip. My opinion. And where I am putting my money. Win or loose, I don't care. I will follow my plan. But personally I don't care I sold off about 5 months ago over 60% up over 3 years. Drawing over 4% now waiting for a good buying opportunity. I did pick up some dividend stocks Friday (income stock). That is it. If we have a bit of a run I am selling off waiting for the a big drop later. Love Trump he is great! -

One of the things I enjoy here in South America is the Cheese. So cheap and pretty good.

I imagine they are the ones that put them up to it. The Chinese have been doing it for years. Just promise and then do nothing. I imagine with this current President they will have a pretty hard time lying and cheating . But, worth a shot for them. The US takes a lot of nonsense, but once they are done with you they are done. I think Thailand is one of the countries the US is done with. Like China and a few others.

Three Colombians Arrested in Nong Khai While Fleeing Home Theft
Gknrd replied to Georgealbert's topic in Isaan News
That is Way way out there. hahaha. Shipping furniture to Colombia... Really. I'm in Colombia now. Double pricing is about like Thailand. Gringo's stand out here and are an easy mark for the same scams in Thailand. I like it because of the breath taking nature. Thailand was stripped of Nature years ago. Clean air. Colombia is becoming the hot tourist destination Thailand was 30-40 years ago. And, I hate to see it. But, I am taking advantage of it until it gets taken over.. like Thailand. I do miss the shopping in Thailand. BKK is off the charts. -
