Someone I know is currently teaching in China but is finishing in August. He is thinking of coming to Thailand and I was wondering which websites were best for him to look for teaching jobs. Thanks.

Might have too but the nearest is 65km away, if I can get the nest out myself it saves me a trip.

Does anyone know if you can get inside a Nissan Almera bonnet. There are 2 panels that look separate but I don't want to start trying to force them off if they're not supposed to come off. The reason is I have a mouse nesting in my bonnet. Thanks.

My wife took seeds back from the UK last year and they've grown amazingly well, our biggest problem is squirrels nicking them before we can get them. Has anyone bought a poly tunnel in Thailand?.

VFS Bangkok - UK Visa application
MyThai1 replied to spinner343's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
What do you mean by "dummy hotel and dummy flight bookings", we fancy a look to Italy for a week in the summer and need to sort a Schengen visa. -
VFS Bangkok - UK Visa application
MyThai1 replied to spinner343's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
No that's exactly what they want to know. Remember it's her application not his, if she puts retired, how many girls can retire at her age in Thailand. She needs to show how she lives if that is with her sponsors money he needs to show the monthly transfers and the amount. -

My Legal Wife Has A Thai ID problem.
MyThai1 replied to NONG CHOK's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
Sounds a bit fishy, doesn't matter when she was born, when the birth was registered at City Hall will have gone down as her date of birth. My wife is 47 but she was about 1 by the time they registered her so that is the date on her ID. -
Book air ticket in advance of visa
MyThai1 replied to rocky123's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
No problem it's a 6 months visa, if you put a travel date of say Xmas that would take you to end of June. -
Non-immigrant O visa in the UK
MyThai1 replied to Tiberius's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Their is nothing to say getting a Non-O is linked to retirement, anyone can get one. In the past I would normally get one when my driving licence needs renewing so I get 5yrs even though i'm only there for 2 weeks holiday. Their is quite a difference now though over the tourist visa with you having to have £10000 is funds. -
Yes this is the part that I wonder about. In the near future i'm planning on working 6 months in the uk then having 6 months off in Thailand, then repeat each year. An employer is not going to give me a letter, obviously not retired, could I just use 6 months pay slips ?.

We did exactly the same in August, 9 days later courier delivers it to the house, well impressed. -
Schengen Visa Rejection Rates
MyThai1 replied to GinBoy2's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
They look quite high considering you have to book flights and hotels before applying. -
Yes do it yourself. I tried an agent thinking it would be easier and quicker, after 10 days they hadn't even started the application, still asking for paperwork that had nothing to do with the application. We told them to stop and we did it ourselves, they never reimbursed us the money we had already spent either.
