BritScot replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Already proven that's why the term was changed to Climate Change, please keep up. Sheeple who have no ability to check facks would be leave Al Gore and a teenage drop out. What lunacy follow 20~30 Climate catastrophes that have been false. Ice still there, polor bears still there and great lakes highest levels ever recorded. People are so stupid. The cult of global warming sorry Climate change. Note: The world's Climate has and will continue to change regardless of humans. The sun decides not us... -
Thailand's Cabinet Reshuffle Fuels Possibility for Marijuana Reform
BritScot replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I understand your stance being a person who doesn't like Thaksin, however, he was a dually elected PM by the people as was his sister and would be again if a vote is clean as would his sister. As for charges made against them by unelected thugs with guns who stole the country, they don't stand. Never forget who gave the order to shoot unarmed protesters in a temple grounds then proceeded to bully and threaten the very brave nurse. -

I can't remember handling a live hand grenade with a red release. Our practice grenades were yellow I think but memory hazy. -
Brawl Involving 20 Men in Pattaya Leaves One Person Seriously Injured
BritScot replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
What nonsense! Thais are on the whole coward's and bullies. They lasted meer minutes when Japan invaded, their hands up and white flags flaping in the wind. It is ingrained so they will only fight when they think they are on the winning side. Why so close to China? Because they wrongly think China is stronger the same mistake they made with Japan. Thai history is full of examples. -

Some people on this site are really twisted and very nasty people: how on earth can you try and twist a six on 1 beat down and stabbing on the 2 innocent foreigners? People really need to examine their moral compass!!!!! -
Thai man and foreigner clash over water splash dispute (video)
BritScot replied to webfact's topic in Eastern Thailand News
The same people blaming The Foreigner and degrading the Foreigner's Spouse! Is so typical on here. It happened in a petrol station, the Foreigner (racist as should be just man and his wife but the derogatory use "Foreigner and slighting his wife" is pure racist). I too would be so very angry at a grown man throwing water at me in a petrol station ruining my coffee and soaking me. This nonsense about respecting Thai Traditions or ever changing Thai Traditions. Well my Scottish Tradition or even male tradition is to knockout a man out who throws a drink in my face!!! -
Bangkok Launches Major Pavement Renovation Project

Thailand is not the place to go if your disabled especially if you use a wheelchair! Unless you want to stay in a real 4 or 5 star hotel and not leave. Thailand is not disabled friendly. Even disabled parking spaces are taken up by big SUV's or Thai so called high end vehicle's who have the disability of Entitlement fantasy!@!!! -
The dark secrets of Thailand’s elephant tourism industry
BritScot replied to george's topic in Thailand News
What nonsense! Man and animals have a very symbiosis relationship, from dogs to horses. Example of benifits to the animal involved would be falconry where a captive falcon lives nearly twice as long as a wild falcon. The same can be said with horses as the damage 2 stallions do to each other sometimes involving death. Then there is the relationship: man and wolf/dog which has benefited both parties. Animals which are saved from extinction occurs from work carried out in reputable Zoo's around the world. Please stop the fantasy because it always results in the culling of thousands of animals. The results of over population of an animal type always results in the same death by slow starvation. -
Why! Does that give you security in your mindset that only naughty people get attacked? News flash "innocent people are attacked and murdered often". This occurs when mentally unstable people have episodes or off their meds. Steroids and testosterone meds cause very aggressive behaviour. An attack from behind with such ferocity by a man who has carried out other similar attacks yet walking free must also have money and be protected or just incompetent police. The blood of this poor man is on a lot of people's hands.

Foreign tourist drowns trying to retrieve water gun from Bangkok canal
BritScot replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Crazy! Nothing surprises me how thick people are. It is a death sentence going into these clongs and to do it over a toy gun. The bacteria and diseases in those waters will and do kill. Unbelievable. -
The dark secrets of Thailand’s elephant tourism industry
BritScot replied to george's topic in Thailand News
It is a very hard subject because if the use of elephants were to end they would all require to be culled and owners compensated. It makes me so angry when ill-informed people spout vertu signalling rubbish not realising the consequences. We had a similar some years ago in the UK when fox hunting was abolished. Fox is vermin and not a cuddly puppet. Fox hunting only removed the weak and infirm so all this action did was have thousands of hunting hounds put to sleep and also horses. Rural economy suffered as did the foxes which them had to be shot gassed etc and not all gamekeepes are marksmen. -
The dark secrets of Thailand’s elephant tourism industry

I hope you hand 50% to wild life conservation?!? Because if working elephants and even tourist elephant then there would be an almighty cull or starvation of these majestic animals. Your support for the abolishment of big game hunting and ending all domestication of animals is noble but keep your money flowing. Maybe increase your donation to 75%. -
The baffling 27 years of Richard Burrows, aka. ‘Peter Smith’
BritScot replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
Aren't British Passports done in Hong Kong (I know they used to be). Years ago "11 years". I went to the embassy in Bkk to have my daughter birth registered as British. The embassy told me all the documentation were correct. However, when sent for processing in Hong Kong someone decided I also needed my parents marriage certificate and birth certificates. I was so angry. -
