It's really only about the money with many of these video creators who depend on social media to sustain a living. They constantly need to feed the content-beast to remain solvent and presumably he saw this as an easy way to pump out 10 videos (or more) with lots of "spews for views", which would otherwise require him coming up with 10 separate, new and interesting ideas. So he was solidly determined to do this journey, hoping for a nice ka-ching from it. Otherwise, he could have stayed curled up comfortably with his girlfriend in Bangkok, whilst never having to venture out to do something as dangerous as this. It's the perceived fame and proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that often pushes people like him to take such big risks, and with quite a few of them ending in disaster. If there is any doubt about what I am saying then please note that, even under duress, he manages to perform a 3 minute advertisement in his video (starting at the 6 minute mark) for some eSIM data roaming service, whilst hoping to get an additional whack every time some viewer signs up for the service using his discount code. Truth is, much of what these YouTubers push as being the great "sponsors" of their channel are often an even greater disservice to their viewers. I assume many of the YouTubers truly know very little about the integrity (or lack of) of their sponsors. The poor ratings and reviews on the TrustPilot link below for the service he was flogging speaks for itself in terms of the quality and reliability of the services they offer: https://trustpilot.com/review/airalo.com

Only mad dogs and Englishmen would cycle outdoors during the summer hot season. Not to mention being on the road in Thailand moving at 11kph when the average vehicle is moving at over 60kph and with the average driver not knowing where the brake pedal is. What could possibly go wrong?

Best 'Gummies' in Bangkok ?
HugoFastor replied to richard_smith237's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
FULLY AGREE! In fact, they should shut down the whole entire internet. All those videos on YouTube showing young people how to smoke weed, all those websites selling marijuana paraphernalia, then all that filthy pornography all over the internet, not to mention all the misinformation and disinformation, all the deep fakes, political propaganda, all those pictures of war, death, and destruction. Way too non-family orientated. Shut it all down, now! -
Best 'Gummies' in Bangkok ?
HugoFastor replied to richard_smith237's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
Yup, storing sweet tasting edibles with kids around is never a great idea. There is a shop in Siam Square selling all this stuff though: https://organic-village.co.th/groceryshop/cannabis-thc-cbd/ A dry herb vaporizer is another option. A small, palm sized electronic device. Take a couple of puffs, blow it out the window, nobody smells anything. No smoke or smell that lingers around. Fast and easy. -
To die (with wealth) or not to die, that is the question.
HugoFastor replied to sidjameson's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
There are a lot of posts bringing up the issue of someone having lived modestly, being a saver their whole life, and then finding it difficult to suddenly change their ways and start needlessly splashing out just to use up some of their money before they die. Yes, this is a definite issue and psychological obstacle for many. And who would want to suddenly start accumulating lots of high value items that they don't need or want anyway? I think one of the easiest ways to spend more in a meaningful way would be to start taking 1-2 five-star trips a year. Go to some unusual and interesting places. Fly business class. Stay in some really nice hotels and eat in the best restaurants for a couple of weeks. This type of spending and travel will help to use up some of the money, but without having to change one's lifestyle or accumulate unnecessary possessions, but while still providing some amazing experiences and offering some great and fulfilling memories to go with it. -
Really? I mean for 900 Baht all in, who wouldn't want two nurses holding your head down while getting a pull? Plus, the face covering makes for a unique experience. The part I'm still a bit puzzled about though is how you didn't feel a thing. Thus, I can understand your disappointment.

Oooo, nice touch. Any extra charge for that? Did they offer a blindfold as alternative option?

You question is a good one, but too vague. If you are single, and with no family or anyone you want to leave anything to then, yes, you should eventually start to drawdown. There have been books written on how to essentially "die broke", with the notion of enjoying your money as much as you can without it needlessly ending up in the hands of some institution that ends up getting it by default and doesn't need or deserve it, say like a bank or the state. What always makes it tricky is often not knowing when you will die or how much of it you might need for healthcare or nursing later as you age. There is a basic formula though and that is to start spending down about 2.5% of your wealth per year starting at age 60. That would basically allow you to live to 100 before your money would completely run out. There are other more sophisticated approaches too I'm sure. -
If you buy the pliers and the alcohol I'll do it for a Khao Pad. 👍🏼

Bushmills: Are you for it, or against it?
HugoFastor replied to GammaGlobulin's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I'm very much in favor of a thick, burly Irish bush. The most disappointing thing is to head off face first into the jungle only to discover you've been duped by another overzealous bush trimmer. -

The story is true to the extent of the OP's own perception of what really happened. In reality the whole thing was probably very different though. Sticking with the story though, sounds like she met a nice girl and ran off to start a pay phone business. 😂 The so-called phone call from Bahrain was from her drunk brother who needed money to pay off some gambling debts.

I just tested it. I tried it using 5,000 Thai Baht already in my Wise account and then sending to an account at a bank in Thailand and it says "Funds for Long Term Stay" as the last option on the list. I then tested it by sending some Japanese Yen in my Wise account to a Thai Baht account in Thailand and the options were all very different. So if you are trying to transfer using a different currency then I suggest you convert the funds to Thai Baht first within your Wise account so that the money is in Baht. Then try sending Baht and the "Funds for Long Term Stay" should be an available option. If you are trying to transfer USD, CAD, GBP, or EUR to a Thai bank account then the options might be different. So just convert the money to Baht within your Wise account first and everything should be right as rain.

Have you tried this 10 Baht weed before? Is it just like Thai brick weed? Better than brick weed or is it about the same look, feel, and quality as brick weed? I also assume one needs to consume a lot more of this KD stuff to get high when compared to the much higher quality stuff. On a good day I assume the THC is really around 5%-7% in this KD. It's probably great though for the people who like to smoke a lot, but don't really want to get too high.

https://www.worlddata.info/average-penissize.php Surprised the guy had enough real estate to wrap 11 of anything around his unit. Thailand ranks 93 out of 97 countries on the above link. Thus, the subject of penis size appears to be a rather "small" matter in Thailand. So nothing that is going to keep anyone awake at night.

How many blocks of crack do you normally smoke in a day?
