  1. I did a quick google search for healthcare in India. https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=164405 The flipside is private health care sector where the medical aid is far superior but ethics go out of the window in the greed for money.Corporate hospitals offer extremely good health care but be wary of doctors who would suggest and subject you to tens of unnecessary medical tests for a simple diagnosis. If you appear uninformed, you are sure to be taken for a ride by the corporate doctors. Hefty medical bills and a colossal and shocking waste of your time and energies!
  2. so go do some reconaissance and let us know. also, i wonder if there's an expat forum like this one for expats in india where they discuss healthcare.
  3. Couldnt you just get quotes by calling clinics in India rather than having to fly there?
  4. what is it with the hatred of sandals on this forum? you need to cover your feet at all times when walking along the beach? sandals is not the issue.
  5. This has been going on for decades. So bouncers must have arrangements with authorities on what they are allowed to get away with. But still, it's one of the worst jobs on the planet. If you kick a guy and he dies, you could get charged for murder. All for what? 500 baht an hour?
  6. Not sure how you define "good stuff" or why someone would need a container to haul their stuff across the planet. How much did the container cost? Isn't it cheaper to sell your big screen TV and then buy a new one in Thailand? The only definition of "good stuff" I can think of is if maybe you're a professional musician and you've acquired expensive equipment, sound studio ... or sth like that. Otherwise, most stuff seems replaceable to me. And books too maybe ... but a container for books?
  7. Big KNOCK, Why did you start this thread? Are you a "pick-up artist"? You take your girls to 3 locations before making a move? And now you're proud because your techniques are backed by science? Ha ha.
  8. what do you mean "interesting"? he made a valid point, didnt he? not sure why he's bothering to address people like you and goat. you guys are bigoted. you hate the whole prostitution scene and you were probably rolling on the floor laughing when you watched this video. you get a twisted sense of satisfaction seeing anyone near the bar scene getting their heads kicked in to support your judaeo-christian views of how the world should work.
  9. no sorry. i will cut my losses and stop reading your threads and talking to you altogether. you go back and forth between posting intelligent stuff and being trollish. you're sneaky and you will bring out the ugly side of my character. so bye bye.
  10. there was an overreaction. if you watch the video, one guy steps in to stop the 2 others kicking him when he was down. they would have continued the kicking and it would have been worse. and they're not supposed to be kicking a guy when he's down in the first place. it's already going too far. bouncer is supposed to keep the bar safe. these bouncers were getting revenge.
  11. one guy stepped in to stop the other 2 guys kicking. could have been worse.
  12. You're right. I still don't know what the point of this thread is ... but it's none of my business. I'm not the moderator of the forum. I will refrain from engaging with you any further.
  13. we're trying to encourage you to step up your game and start more meaningful threads that have a clear and concise point.
  14. because we don't appreciate wasting time reading threads that seem like they might be interesting, but end up being click-bait.
  15. he mentions dopamine hits. your threads are dopamine hits, bignok. that can't be good for my psychological health.
  16. maybe there's no such thing as a "soul-mate". or not one specific person in the whole world, anyway. it's a myth.
  17. yes, i got your point.
  18. ok , so you don't hate the guy. just his signature bothers you. so you're not a hater, i won't put labels on you ever again.
  19. the forum can get toxic. personally, i will start posting less. me too, i need to stop myself from becoming a miserable old fart. it's sad.
  20. yeah computer. PC. with a large screen. he wishes he had a few more luxuries, but he survived with 2 suitcases most of his life.
  21. The future trend (as far as I can gather) is toward less ownership. Renting economy will grow? There is already an airline that rents out clothing so when you travel you dont need to bring your own clothes.
  22. Just read a blog. The guy was a digital nomad for 20 years. Everything he owns is in 2 suitcases. He's been living like that for 20 years. It can be done, but he does complain that he wishes he had a desktop and a few other things.
  23. the bots can find it anywhere online. never type it out directly. type "swissie at gmail dot com"
  24. this thread will just increase animosity/hostility. shut it down.
