  1. a bit off topic, but ... the mathematical odds of having two GG's on a forum who create weird topics seem rather low. like, of all the millions of user names they could have chosen. unless it's a conspiracy.
  2. You're very cynical, young man. And you might actually be right. Sure as hell ain't MY planet.
  3. Here is a comment from a Youtube channel I just watched. So things will not change any time soon, no matter who is in power:
  4. Jimi Hendrix = garbage He may know how to play the guitar 100 miles an hour, but that type of playing irritates me anyway. Here's a quote from Jimi: Jimi Hendrix once said, "When I die, I want people to just play my music, go wild and freak out, do anything they want to do." So basically, his music is just designed to get people to do drugs, act crazy, don't take responsibility for your life. Exemplified by Purple Haze, maybe his most famous song. And the lyrics go like this. So his music leads to misery. Purple haze, all around Don't know if I'm comin' up or down Am I happy or in misery?
  5. his trump won. thought for sure he'd back to rub it in.
  6. what happened to susan?
  7. But the world leaders wouldn't go through all the massive efforts to move away from oil if they didn't have serious reason to believe that the planet will self-destruct if we don't. They're making a fortune on oil. Why upset the world's biggest cash cow if not because they know there's no other option?
  8. I think it's the opposite. I think Trump is a mad genius, so much so that he doesn't need to pretend to be intelligent and he doesn't mind making a fool of himself.
  9. I'm not an economist, but I think Venezuela was a one-trick pony. It's economy was probably mostly reliant on gas prices. These types of economies can collapse quite rapidly as there are no safeguards in place. The US is the biggest AI/robotics tech innovators along with China. AI/Robotics will be the biggest industry. Project Stargate, world's biggest supercomputer, will be built at Mt Pleasant, Wisconsin or sth. Most of the world's biggest tech companies (Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia, OpenAI, Amazon, Facebook) are all based in the US. Even if Trump was pure evil, he couldn't collapse the US economy if he tried. The US will not fade away into oblivion any time soon economically. Will Trump be a villain on the world stage? Maybe, but I'm guessing his bad boy persona is just an act.
  10. Is David Copperfield a liar? Sort of. He uses sleight of hand. There's a lot of stuff Trump will do that he never talked about either .... such is the game of sleight of hand. Nobody knows what they really voted for ... but it's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just the way it is. Good luck chasing down every election promise. Don't you have anything better to do?
  11. everyone is a liar.
  12. yeah, he's probably not telling the truth about project 2025. do you really expect politicians (or anybody for that matter) to be honest at all times?
  13. you can get murdered in your sleep on the streets. I think there's a drug that if someone puts it in your ear, it can kill you. But if I was on the streets, I would probably want to die anyway.
  14. 1 - He's old, but not really. How old is he? 74? But he's still youthful and appeals to young generations. The proof is that he appeared on Joe Rogan podcast and Lex Fridman podcast. Joe Biden would never do that because he is old school. And Kamala who is much younger did not even do these types of podcasts. But Joe Rogan and Lex Fridman are the hipster podcasts of the day and Trump is a hipster, despite his age. 2 - MAGA is its own separate party. Although technically he is running under the republican party, he created his own party in disguise. This guy is a genius. 3 - He claims he knows nothing about Project 2025
  15. sorry, this is off topic, but it's only a gamma thread. simpsons predicted trump victory.
  16. this is pretty funny. the "I want to rock n roll all night and party every day" Kiss dude admits that he doesn't drink or do drugs. I agree with him. it's a waste of time. try to get laid as much as possible, do sports, read books, listen to music, watch movies, and just take a pass on the substances that numb you. sitting around smoking weed and drinking is not my idea of a good retirement. we need another thread ... HOW did you retire? doing what? not where.
  17. Elon Musk thinks he's God, but God doesn't think he's Elon Musk. I give up. What?
  18. it has to be a dictatorship. if they had to check in with 300 million people every time they made a decision, nothing would get done. he has RFK bitch-slapping Big Pharma. sounds good to me. what have you done lately for anyone?
  19. US and New Zealand are the only countries where this is allowed, I think. This OP is the most important thread I've seen about the entire election or candidates. Going after Big Pharma two days in is mind-blowing. This is HUGE! https://www.forbes.com/sites/stephenbrozak/2024/11/08/is-rfk-jr-just-what-the-doctor-ordered-the-5-critical-first-signs/ Healthcare Is A Business Fifth, Kennedy would have his most significant effect on healthcare if he could refocus the money-making business of medicine to its original goal of maintaining and improving health.
  20. I nearly forgot about RFK !! This sounds promising to me: https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4966535-robert-kennedy-trump-health-care/ “I told Bobby, ‘I want you to take care of health, I want you to look at the food and the food supply and what we put on the food,” Trump said at the MSG rally.
  21. not even sure that makes any sense.
  22. Everyone acts like they know how to run a country. Most people have never run a hot dog stand. Most people wouldn't know what policies the US needs if someone put a gun to their heads. Elections are a joke. Nobody cares what you think.
  23. it does contain the word "men" ... so there's that
  24. I learned from watching a Dutch guy on Youtube - channel name Physionic He has a Phd in sth. Smart guy. He always dissects studies on how they were done and shows how some of them are basically not valid for xyz reasons. Peer reviews are over-rated it seems.
