The problem with MAGAs is there is no amount of evidence that would convince you. A jury found him liable for sexual assault, MAGAs deny. A jury found him guilty of 34 felonies, and MAGAs deny. A jury found the Trump companies guilty of fraud, MAGAs deny. His CFO went to prison for that fraud, MAGAs deny. Trump broke the law in Georgia and its on tape, MAGAs deny. Finally, Trump got caught on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women and MAGAs deny. So your appeal for evidence can only make me laugh.

ABC & G.Stephanopoulis made to pay & apology to Trump
EveryG replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
What you call reading between the lines is just making stuff up. It's what conspiracy theorist do with all of their nonsense. You are just trying to couch your tinfoil hat nonsense as intelligence -
You have zero credibility, lol. You said the jurors were rational people because they agreed with you on one count then switch things around as it suits you. Facts are still facts. The jury, which you first said was rational, did find Trump liable for sexual assault. Most states no longer have rape on the books in any way. The new term for rape is....wait, you guessed it! Sexual Assault. This is a forum, not a court room. By every definition of the word, which is what the judge was saying when he dismissed Trump's defamation case against E Jean Carroll, Trump is a rapist.

The nature of a settlement is that it's not forced. You're just making stuff up here. -
Only in Trump world is the distinction between rape and sexual assault used to argue in favor of the perpetrator. Would you real feel vindicated if I just referred to your hero as a sexual assaulter? lol
-
Wrong. 15 million for saying he was found liable for rape by a jury when he was found liable for sexual assault, but the latter still makes him a rapist. Judge says E Jean Carroll allegation Trump raped her is ‘substantially true’ in court dismissal People who rape are rapists.

Trump named Time’s ‘Person of the Year’ for second time

Trump named Time’s ‘Person of the Year’ for second time

Trump was convicted of a felony, that's what makes him a convicted felon. You can argue technicalities all you want. If you prefer, we can say: Trump was found guilty of 34 felony counts. The Hawaii case is irrelevant, as these things are decided by state courts under state law. Trump lives in Florida, where he is considered a convicted felon. Period. -

Trump named Time’s ‘Person of the Year’ for second time

His argument is just an argument that has no practical basis. I have demonstrated how Trump is considered a convicted felon on a practical basis in many states, including FL, and based on his inability to vote in several states, an inability to serve jury duty, and an inability to travel (if those countries were to enforce now, but they won't). Plus he's been CONVICTED OF A FELONY. That the judge will enter the judgment of guilt is a technical issue, and even that lawyer admits its automatic. That lawyer is making an argument of a literal technicality (I remember when right wingers hated technicalities) and he's a complete right wing blowhard who is obviously lying when he says: He made that up. It was never hidden, certainly his charges were well known and the jury was clear. Fact: Trump is currently a convicted felon, but not yet a sentenced felon. -

There are hundreds of examples of why you are wrong, but here is the most direct quote Fox: Trump is a convicted felon. How can he vote in Florida? So you see, Florida law would clearly not let Trump vote if that case had been held in Florida. Period. As a felon, Donald Trump can no longer travel to 38 countries So you see? There is no fox news people arguing the point that TRUMP IS A CONVICTED FELON. Oh wait, there's more: So even Ron DeSantis, fervent Trump foot kisser, said the reason Trump can vote in Florida is not because he isn't technically a convicted felon. The reason, he says, is that NY doesn't take take away the voting rights of felons. Ron goes on to say that he would have granted him clemency to vote in the state of FL. You know who need clemency to vote? CONVICTED FELONS -

You are wrong. Here is the complete explanation: The examples have added information, but the core of the definition in ALL FOUR EXAMPLES is the same. You are cherry picking because you are a hopeless sycophant. -
Your reading really is an issue over and over. Who mentioned what anyone does in their bedroom? Kimberly Guilfoyle was showing d*ck pics at work. That last post was 100% about sexual harassment and assault in the workplace, which Fox has paid millions for. FYI, there are programs for adults to improve their reading. It's nothing to be ashamed of.

You quote Twitter, quoting someone you hate appearing on a network you have said you refuse to believe anything from, and I'll quote a law dictionary: Dan Goldman doesn't know the difference between convicted and sentenced. I love that you want to accept what he says as if you really think he's an authority. What else does Dan think that you agree with? Here are 3 more definitions from legal dictionaries: Trump is, by every definition of the words, a convicted felon. -

He's certainly the most influential convicted felon in the world -
Kimberly Guilfoyle, the latest Trump nominee who ruined her face with plastic surgery and her brain with cocaine that she snorted with Don Jr., is the latest Trump pick with inappropriate sexual behavior that Fox forced her out for. How is it that so many people in Trump world end up on the wrong end of inappropriate sexual behavior? I wonder how many millions fox has paid out for sexual harassment and assault? I guess that's the cost of doing business if your entire platform is based on an amoral approach to the world.

This. We've already seen that he's just trying to slap his name on what is already happening, as he did after a phone call with the president of Mexico, claiming that he got her to do something by threatening tariffs when in reality she was just describing existing policy. I have not seen a single Trump idea that is a good idea, except maybe no more time changes. Every proposal he has is likely to cause more inflation, and he's even hedging now on bring it down. Remember when Trump wrote COVID checks to every American and insisted his name be on them? Estimates are that those checks increased inflation by 2.6%. There is an argument that this injection of cash avoided a bigger crisis, but the inflation is (in part) the US economy paying the piper. Them dems also love spending money, but MAGAs should stop pretending that it was Biden alone who caused inflation.

All of whom now admit that at least likely plausible, if not more plausible, is that the government's sudden "admission" is itself subterfuge. The US government may have or know about technology that they don't want people/countries to know about, so they stay very vague. You'll note all they've actually said is some version of we don't know what these things are and people fill in the blanks.

Joe Biden should pardon himself for every unsubstantiated claim Trump made about in for the last four years, or pick a really good one like a pardon for stealing the 2020 election. For people who believe that president's should not be able to pardon themselves, this would be a brilliant political move. Biden's pardon of himself would be challenged in the courts right away. That would force Trump to decide whether or not he should pardon himself, and it would put the issue in the courts before Trump does it. If Biden waits on Trump to pardon himself, the issue might not reach the courts for years AFTER Trump leaves office. It also puts Trump in the awkward position of having to join the lawsuit to defend Joe Biden pardoning himself from a nonsense allegation Trump himself made. It puts the issue of self-pardons in front of the conservative Supreme Court with a democrat having done it (or Trump and Biden together), making them more easy to see how bad of an idea a self pardon is. This move would also make MAGAs totally glitch out- they would have to defend Biden to defend Trump? They would have to be against self-pardons? I can't think of a downside to Joe Biden doing this. I think the Supreme Court would rule against a self pardon in any case, but this speeds up the process to prevent Trump from employing the self-pardon as a delay.

All of the ranting and raving, and the fact remains that Trump was found liable for criminal assault by a jury and ordered to pay 5 million dollars. Why? Probably because his only defense was to say he never met her and that she wasn't hot enough to sexually assault. In the deposition, they showed him a photo of him and E. Jean Carrol standing next to each other in a photo. So the first part is obviously a lie. To make it worse, when they asked him who that was, he said it was Marla Maples....a woman he was definitely attracted to. Then he refused to testify, probably because he had screwed up the deposition so badly that he was going to get absolutely torn to shreds on the witness stand. So after being found liable for criminal assault, E Jean Carroll went on TV and said Trump raped me. Trump then sued her. The judge dismissed the case, saying...you can't sue someone for saying you raped them when a jury found you committed rape as the term is commonly defined. The judge confirmed that Trump can be defined as a rapist. Keep deflecting and I'll keep on posting the facts.

Lying and misspeaking are two very different things. I'm not going to bother researching this detail because it's irrelevant, but even if true, the facts then don't make Trump look any better: The victim went into the dressing room willingly, and then Trump raped her. Happy? I noticed you didn't respond to this point. Probably better to ignore it, especially since even Trump's first wife accused him of rape around 1993.

You promised to quit, but here you are again.... No criminal conviction, but far more than opinion. I would say the evidence collected, Trump's lies, witness testimony, a jury trial, a finding by that jury that he was liable for criminal assault, the common law definition of the word rape, dismissed counterclaims by Trump, appellate court review, and more can all lead one to reasonably claim that Trump is a rapist. You, on the other hand, between insults and logical fallacies, have offered nothing but conspiracy theories...not a single resource to back up any of your claims...all of which I have completely dismantled. You have, once again, completely missed the point. The fact that she was on CNN and what she said is irrelevant. Trump sued her for defamation because she called him a rapist on that network. The judge laid out a very long opinion on that and other matters related to the case, all based on the FACTS obtained during the trial. His conclusion was that it can't be defamation because a jury found Trump committed the act known as rape. Rape does not need the criminal justice system in America to prove its existence. Rape either happens or it doesn't. I have demonstrated over and over that there is PLENTY of evidence showing that Trump raped E Jean Carroll...and you have nothing but unsubstantiated and illogical thoughts which can hardly even be considered opinions- I could teach a parrot to tow the MAGA party line
-
Then stop responding, because if you post nonsense, I'm going to correct it. Wrong. It was a 30 year old accusation and the civil case was filed only because Trump lied about and defamed her. His lies were made plain to the jury. There is no evidence that the trial was politicized (note how to spell this word). It was a typical civil trial with witnesses and testimony that a jury heard and came back with a verdict in 3 hours. Trump likes this distinction so much that he tried to sue her for defamation. The judge dismissed the case because he said Trump had indeed raped her by every definition of the word. You prefer we call him a sexual assaulter? All of his appeals regarding all of the E Jean Carroll cases have been met with eye rolling from the courts. I have denied no truth at all. I have said many times Trump is not a criminally convicted rapist. I'm aware that the statute of limitations have run out on all of his proven and alleged rapes; but, the civil jury trial confirms he is a rapist. A judge issued an opinion because Trump tried to sue E Jean Carroll after a jury found him liable for sexual assault. Carroll went on CNN after the verdict and said "Trump raped me." Trump thought the civil jury exonerated him from rape. The judge said nope, they had to follow the definition in 1996 which has changed. By today's definitions, Trump is a rapist. Case dismissed. BYE!

Cool. But that's not a real thing. MAGAs see everyone who opposes Trump as a "leftist". I am now and have always been a libertarian. I despise the democratic party, and I think Trump is a total garbage human crony capitalist. The world is far more complicated than MAGAs can comprehend. Nope. Is your reading comprehension a problem for you in all aspects of your life? I never suggested nor implied physical abuse. His mother used the term abuse, and she also used the word cheating. She felt the need to distinguish his abuse from his cheating. I have no idea if he was physically, emotionally, sexually, or psychologically abusive- you would have to ask her.
