Earlier this year I had issues with my vision and I went to an International Hospital, which ran tests that led to nowhere. 15,000 baht down the drain. Then I took a deep breath to calm down and think everything through. I do have moderate to severe allergies, my pharmacy gave me some decent allergy medication. I was much better in a couple of days. This is Thailand, it's important to be on top of medical issues. If you feel your situation is not a dire emergency then you might want to give the pharmacy a try first before spending a small fortune on seeing a specialist.

AIS has those cheap yearly data plans, my 12 month plan is 2500 baht unlimited data. Then I pay another 500 for local phone calls so 3,000 baht is all they're getting from me. If I fly overseas I turn the data roaming off but yeah, I can see how someone can easily get gouged by a simple mistake.

The West loves to see Russia in a proxy war vs. Ukraine as they can assess Russia's wartime capabilities(weak) and at the same time watch Russia's economy collapse. It's a Win - Win for The West!

I think this might fix it..I was lazy when I installed the Nvme and wound up creating 4 partitions, half of my Nvme is unallocated lol. Disk Management does say everything is healthy though. So yes, it is time to get everything in order.

I've had this mini for about a year. It first came with a metal hdd, which booted up in about a minute. Then I bought a SSD and only used that for about a week before I upgraded to the NVME. Maybe it's timing out looking for the old hdd's idk.

Very well could be, I'll replace it this weekend.

I detached everything(wifi usb/ext HDD/logitech usb) and it still took 6 minutes to boot into windows.

HP ProDesk 600 G3 Desktop Mini running Windows 10 Pro. The problems I'm having are, well, problems I shouldn't have. 1. First it takes 6 minutes to boot, used to be quicker when I had the original HDD but I "upgraded to a 1 TB NVME. 2. After the upgrade I ended up with a 150GB C: Drive and a 300GB D: Drive with the other GB's unallocated. I'm sure there's a way to get it all on C: Drive, so yeah I need to get this fixed. 3. Finally, I open approx 10 browser tabs and the Chrome browser locks up, I have to use task manager to "end process", then restart browser. Other browsers same thing happens. This happens almost daily. I've been dealing with these issues for awhile, I run CrystalDisk it says it's "97% Healthy". My friend tells me to get rid of my HP and buy a Mac Mini for approx 750 Euros but I'm a Windows addict. Nice 1 bedroom condo along with Internet/phone/elect/water for 20,000 baht. The other 30,000 baht available to spend is up to you. Not bad at all.

Heck, you can live here decently for 40,000 - 50,000 baht a month.

I feel exactly the same way. I would have loved to have the perfect wife and 2 or 3 kids only if the situation was perfect. Which it never was or is. Thankfully I have stayed single with zero regret.

It doesnt' really seem dodgy it just seems like another old Thai building that's been through a lot of changes. For 2 people in a multi room condo your electric bill should be approx 3K-4K a month, which is still very cheap compared to The West. I'd want to see all 3 bills though. In short, I don't think you're getting ripped off.

So, every month you'll end up paying for 3 meters?

Have all the U.S. states doubled their electricity? Or just a few states, including the one your house is in?

3k is 78 Euros that's not bad for a multiple room Condo.

The U.S. average is 20¢ kWh but it's really high in California(30¢) and Hawaii(40¢). I think the average here in Thailand today is 11¢ kWh but will rise to almost 13¢ starting in Jan, 2024. Germany is 40¢ kWh. U.K. is 28 pence kWh which equals 36¢ kWh.

Sooo, electricity will be a whopping 17% more expensive next year. OUTRAGEOUS!
