  1. Congrats, your still young(30's)and you know what you want. I do believe it's harder after the age of 30, than when you're in your 20's. A guy in his 30's is definitely considered an adult, where a guy in his 20's is still considered an extension of his teenage years. Most guys in their 30's obviously not only look older but have had a marriage/kids/divorce..but they are more mature and usually better off financially. I've been here in Thailand 18 months I've seen a few successes but they are rare. Most successes are older guys who have 40'ish wives who are very plain looking. As far as good looking girls go--one guy I know is 56 he's very well off financially, always been very smart, he has a nice much younger gf he looked around here in Pattaya area for 3 years to finally pick the right one. Another guy is 62 he has a much younger g/f, she's a marathon runner all he had to do was buy her a 15-20 million baht condo in Jomtien. I hang out with a lot of friends here in Pattaya, the guys who don't commit are happy 24/7. 90% of the guys who commit are unhappy at least half the time. The sex addicts are, of course, miserable. The alcoholics are, of course, happy lol. My advice to a guy in his 30's who knows what he wants? If you can be happy with a plain girl, you'll probably be alright. If you want a pretty girl you should really plan everything out to the nth degree otherwise you'll lose control and be miserable. If you have 1k-7k Euros a month I'd say VERY DIFFICULT you can get and keep a pretty girl. If you don't have 8k Euros a month you're young you can reinvent yourself and get it. I wouldn't try Thailand though, I'd probably go for a nice S. Korean girl who wants out of S. Korea(they work hard and are much better looking) or go for a nice Colombian girl(you can be 100% that they will take care of your kids). Yes, you can make Thailand work for you but it's simply too hard and you need a lot of money.
  2. Thailand's got a lot of foreigners doing wild antics - what you can't handle it?
  3. The Russians are doing the same here as people from other countries are doing. They're enjoying the low prices and relative peace Thailand provides. I do think they mostly keep to themselves in public but if you went back to their condo they'd be a lot more open. Yes, a few act out in public but every foreign country has a few that go a little wild. I remember last Dec about a minute after the World Cup final a westerner sped his bike down Soi Buakhao and crashed into a 7/11 killing himself and an innocent bystander. Around the same time a Russian Berserker singlehandedly destroyed a different 7/11 on walking street but nobody died which incident is worse?
  4. I agree 20k-30k baht is way too excessive for a fob box
  5. This is pretty typical narcissism; things aren't going my way so the whole world is doomed and so I will panic and run back to my home country. What goes up, must go down. Sales is a tough job.
  6. It definitely was cooler last Dec.
  7. I'm looking to buy a new ADV 350, I believe only the 2024 model is available now since it's December. 1. Do you know of a good Honda dealer in Bangkok? 2. Does the ADV have a better ride than the Forza? 3. Does Honda have any special exhaust that they sell? 4. Any aftermarket exhaust/muffler recommendations? 5. Any comments on the special editions(Touring and/or Racing?) Thanks in advance!
  8. I'm sorry I meant corneal abrasion, not retinal tear. I'd start with going to the Thai pharmacy, they'll probably sell you some lubricating drops or ointment should go away in a couple of days.
  9. what's the pain level between 1-10? If it's a small tear it's probably 7-10.
  10. Sensitive to light and cold? that's not good as it could be a retinal tear. I've had 2 retinal tears, one was caused by a very small grain of sand between my cornea and contact lens. Do you wear contacts?
  11. Looks pretty good, not really inexpensive but it would do the job.
  12. Anyone know if they sell the Honda Smart Top Box for ADV 350 here in Thailand?
  13. Earlier this year I had issues with my vision and I went to an International Hospital, which ran tests that led to nowhere. 15,000 baht down the drain. Then I took a deep breath to calm down and think everything through. I do have moderate to severe allergies, my pharmacy gave me some decent allergy medication. I was much better in a couple of days. This is Thailand, it's important to be on top of medical issues. If you feel your situation is not a dire emergency then you might want to give the pharmacy a try first before spending a small fortune on seeing a specialist.
  14. AIS has those cheap yearly data plans, my 12 month plan is 2500 baht unlimited data. Then I pay another 500 for local phone calls so 3,000 baht is all they're getting from me. If I fly overseas I turn the data roaming off but yeah, I can see how someone can easily get gouged by a simple mistake.
  15. The West loves to see Russia in a proxy war vs. Ukraine as they can assess Russia's wartime capabilities(weak) and at the same time watch Russia's economy collapse. It's a Win - Win for The West!
  16. I think this might fix it..I was lazy when I installed the Nvme and wound up creating 4 partitions, half of my Nvme is unallocated lol. Disk Management does say everything is healthy though. So yes, it is time to get everything in order.
  17. I did buy from Lazada. It seems legit; Lazmall /28 4.98 Star ratings.
  18. I've had this mini for about a year. It first came with a metal hdd, which booted up in about a minute. Then I bought a SSD and only used that for about a week before I upgraded to the NVME. Maybe it's timing out looking for the old hdd's idk.
  19. Very well could be, I'll replace it this weekend.
  20. I detached everything(wifi usb/ext HDD/logitech usb) and it still took 6 minutes to boot into windows.
  21. HP ProDesk 600 G3 Desktop Mini running Windows 10 Pro. The problems I'm having are, well, problems I shouldn't have. 1. First it takes 6 minutes to boot, used to be quicker when I had the original HDD but I "upgraded to a 1 TB NVME. 2. After the upgrade I ended up with a 150GB C: Drive and a 300GB D: Drive with the other GB's unallocated. I'm sure there's a way to get it all on C: Drive, so yeah I need to get this fixed. 3. Finally, I open approx 10 browser tabs and the Chrome browser locks up, I have to use task manager to "end process", then restart browser. Other browsers same thing happens. This happens almost daily. I've been dealing with these issues for awhile, I run CrystalDisk it says it's "97% Healthy". My friend tells me to get rid of my HP and buy a Mac Mini for approx 750 Euros but I'm a Windows addict. Super thanks in advance for any help you can provide, here's my specs: HP ProDesk 600 G3 Desktop Mini Intel Core i5-7500T processor 1 TB NVME Crucial P3 1TB PCIe M.2 2280 SSD(4 Partitions) 8GB DDR4 RAM Windows 10 Pro 64Bit ver. 22H2
  22. 99% a scam because she approached you as you withdrew money at ATM. She knew you couldn't use the common excuse "I'm sorry I don't have any money". That was awesome you steered her to the tourist police, I'm going to use this next time someone tries to scam me.
  23. Thailand is only cheap nowadays. The Chinese want super cheap, so now they stay in China and save a few rmb.
