Revisiting History: The Unlikely Campaign to Vilify Winston Churchill
Cameroni replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Nonsense. the British pioneered bombing civilians in the middle east in the 1920s. "Writing in 1921, Wing Commander J A Chamier suggested that the best way to demoralise local people was to concentrate bombing on the "most inaccessible village of the most prominent tribe which it is desired to punish. All available aircraft must be collected the attack with bombs and machine guns must be relentless and unremitting and carried on continuously by day and night, on houses, inhabitants, crops and cattle." "The Arab and Kurd now know", reported Squadron Leader Harris after several such raids, "what real bombing means within 45 minutes a full-sized village can be practically wiped out, and a third of its inhabitants killed or injured, by four or five machines which offer them no real target, no opportunity for glory as warriors, no effective means of escape." In his memoir of the crushing of the 1920 Iraqi uprising, Lieutenant-General Sir Aylmer L Haldane, quotes his own orders for the punishment of any Iraqi found in possession of weapons "with the utmost severity": "The village where he resides will be destroyed _ pressure will be brought on the inhabitants by cutting off water power the area being cleared of the necessaries of life". He added the warning: "Burning a village properly takes a long time, an hour or more according to size"." https://www.theguardian.com/world/2003/apr/19/iraq.arts -
Trump vs. Taylor Swift: A Battle He’s Bound to Lose

I disagree. Business failures and bankruptcies are just par for the course in business, some ideas fail, others succeed. But those are business matters. To enter into relationships with 12 males shows Swift passed from man to man like a monkey swings from branch to branch. Such monkey branching is far more of a concern. -
Why don't you go ahead and prove the premise that only that is true which is proven with evidence, using evidence, then?
-
"The belief that only that is true which is proven with evidence, is a belief that cannot be proven with evidence". Friedrich Nietzsche.

Swift endorsement turns more voters from harris than it attracts…
Cameroni replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
Harris is doing worse in the polls now than before the endorsement. So looks like Swift's endorsement indeed turned people off rather than helping Harris. -

The quote does not claim that the British practiced carpet bombing in the Middle East before 1937? I didn't realise you have problems reading, Brian. Lol. -

Upper Silesia was of course another travesty, with the Treaty of Versailles calling for a plebiscite, then when the majority voted to remain in Germany rather than honour the plebiscite result instead Upper Silesia being carved up. Not on voting lines either, cities where the vast majority had voted for Germany (32 of 35 cities voted to be part of Germany) fell to Poland and so did 2/3 of industrial territory and 4//5 of natural resources. Not that Poland was able to do much with it in the 40 years that followed, but that was the reality. The British and French had supported this carving up of Germany purely for their own policy reasons, as they thought it would facilitate weakening Germany. In reality it faciliated Adolf Hitler. In particular the Upper Silesia plebiscite was a major grievance in Germany which led to the rise of the far right. -

False. The British pioneered carpet bombing before 1937 in their colonies. Conventional raids, however, proved to be an effective deterrent. They brought Sheikh Mahmoud, the most persistent of Kurdish rebels, to heel, at little cost. Writing in 1921, Wing Commander J A Chamier suggested that the best way to demoralise local people was to concentrate bombing on the "most inaccessible village of the most prominent tribe which it is desired to punish. All available aircraft must be collected the attack with bombs and machine guns must be relentless and unremitting and carried on continuously by day and night, on houses, inhabitants, crops and cattle." Teamsters’ Neutral Stance: A Blow to Harris and a Challenge for Trump
Cameroni replied to Social Media's topic in World News
No, a sensible negotiator with a lack of ideological blinkers. Everybody said Trump will push the nuclear button when he's president. Instead he diffused the North Korean situation skilfully, brought arabs and Israelis to the table. He used America's influence credibly and skilfully on the internationally stage. Harris, however, will unleash World War III with her rabid support for Ukraine. -

British public school and never wen to Hoe University sadly, though Taylor could teach a class there. Sorry, I just don't think 12 exes is a healthy place to be for a woman. A man who strays now and then, ok, but that's hardly unusual. But 12 exes, that's a major red flag in a female. -
Will Harris' Leadership Unite or Divide the Nation?
Cameroni replied to CharlieH's topic in Political Soapbox
I doubt you're as silly to believe that it is not excruciatingly obvious that Harris has copied a large number of Trump's policies to the letter. Fracking No tax on tips Immigration, she's Wyatt Earp now China tariffs - She will retain them all Increasing Child tax credit. Both support Israel now. Both support gun ownership now What difference? Abortion? That's it? I'm waiting for her to put on a suit and red tie and come out with the slogan "Make America great again". -

Yes, copy all of Trump's policies. Support fracking Pass off removing tax on tips as your policy Bemoan illegal immigration and say border agencies need more funding. Keep tariffs on China in place The message: Be like Trump. -
If you want to get the real connection with the EX US servicemen, check out 3of7 Project on Youtube. Chadd Wright is the real deal. Love that guy. Okay, the religious extremism you have to tune that out. But all the rest...that man is ready.

Again, agreed, Spanish olive oil is my favourite too. Ybarra is a good brand they sell at Tops. Also 750 range.
-
Agreed, I always get EVO.
-
It depends on brand, even Tops in Central has it for half of that. Ybarra will be 750 Baht, because it's excellent. But there are other Spanish olive oils that are cheaper, you don't have to go the mixed oil route.

Delusion is indeed a very powerful thing. However, the only dark force here is a self-obsessed 34 year old billionaire who is teaching the young girls of America that sleeping around is fine and dandy. Disgusting. I feel for anybody taking political advice from an ink pot into which so many fountain pens have been dipped. It's not at all tough to support Donald Trump against something like this. He is still extremely lucid and virile and will be the 47th president.
