Stop trolling, you know very well what they mean. When he is arrested on arrival he will be jailed, so 1 hour later he can apply. And most likely he will not even see a prison, as he will be allowed to appeal and stay free until it goes to court. What is more, stop defending the murderous red bull kid, as if you know him, it is disgusting.

Thai Inflation Rate Falls for Fifth Straight Month
BenStark replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Exports have decreased for the 4th consecutive month, between 4.6 and 7.6% each month, yet they expect only 1% decrease in the year? https://thainews.prd.go.th/en/news/detail/TCATG230331140804689 For the first two months of 2023, Thai exports fell by 4.6% to 42.6 billion U.S. dollars. industrial product exports declined for a fifth consecutive month in February, falling 6.2% to 17.6 billion dollars. Others even expect exports to grow in 2023 https://www.thailand-business-news.com/economics/97835-thai-exports-to-expand-by-1-2-in-2023-scb-eic According to SCB EIC, Thailand’s export value in 2023 is expected to grow by 1.2%, despite a continuous decline in February. I want something of what they smoke -
So if I understand correctly, the guy had 3 buildings, 1 of which was rented out to the Indian, and 2 buildings that supposedly haven't been rented out for the past 5 years? Business must be great in Pattaya, if you're unable to find anyone interested in renting those buildings for 5 years, or something is missing from the story. Reading the whole article on how tolerant the owner seems to be, I think it is the latter.

Saudi Arabia and Thailand to Strengthen Relations
BenStark replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Didn't know this was something included in caretaker governments duties. Thought they only were here to keep things running while new government moves in. Maybe the real purpose of the trip was to look for a new home? -
Pita Limjaroenrat’s PM bid threatened by iTV share controversy
BenStark replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
How glad to see that we finally have a thread about Pita owning ITV shares, and that EC opposes that, otherwise we would never have known.- 33 replies

When you can see the sun through the roof from the underside, what else than leaking can you expect. Also that roof is completely wrong laid Did the roof worker know water streams down?

The diggers seem to work full time 24/7 to find something. Anyone who still thinks MFP will form the next government, will be in for a disappointment.

Have you noticed that democrats are for the past few years the big losers in about every country in the world? There must be a reason for it. And I was always told, if a majority shares the same opinion, then they are probably right. Now please don't reply But But Biden had more votes last election, because we all know the reason, and that reason isn't there any more after they have seen what happened during his term

Stolen iphone got sold to electronic shop, what now?

If you really believe that any president makes his own negotiations, then you must live in a different universe. Why you think a president is surrounded with such large teams of advisors and lawyers? But I agree, he joined all the meetings without falling out of his chair, that alone is an achievement.

That is not an Advice shop, I'm particularly looking for the Advice shop This is what google maps tells me, but I don't see anything in streetview, and I was yesterday in that area and didn't see anything either. https://goo.gl/maps/vN1hyQn6Myo17fDo9

Paetongtarn Prefers To Bring Father Home From Abroad
BenStark replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
You remember when Kamnan poh, who was convicted to 25 years for murder, was arrested by the military? Tell me again how many days he stayed in jail, you even can mention it in hours if that is easier. He was a right hand of Thaksin by the way. -
Sending money out of Thailand
BenStark replied to PJ71's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
It should show in your bank book as incoming international transfers, so I think you can have a word with your bank to get statements from the previous years. In my case I got telex transfer rate for the Euros in my foreign currency account, and they charged 0.5% on that to transfer it back. In your case you probably have Thai baht, so you get selling rate, and a fixed transfer fee. You haven't mentioned which bank, but if it is Kasikorn the foreign currency department is on the first floor of nthe central pattaya road branch -
Sending money out of Thailand
BenStark replied to PJ71's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
This was 2019, but rules haven't changed. Payslips will not suffice, you will have to have sent it over officially, and asked for the document TM "something". If it concerns a business transaction, you can go through BOT -
Sending money out of Thailand
BenStark replied to PJ71's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Sending out doesn't have a limit, as long as you can prove you brought it in officially, or if it concerns a business transaction you can show an official invoice. I sent back 300.000 Euros in one go, with Kasikorn, but I had the money in a foreign currency account. Cost was about 45.000 baht Cost me quite a bit of money, because first have to exchange it to Thai baht, then back to Euro, because you can't send Thai baht out of the country. -
Is this the evolution Thailand is heading to?
BenStark replied to Confuscious's topic in Audio Visual AV
I have a reminder on my phone that tells me when my bills from whatever utility are due. I'm so lucky they are every month due on the same day. Then I open my Kasikorn bank phone app, press payment, and then select the company I want to pay the bill for, in this case True. Enter my phone number, and it will tell me how much I have to pay. I do that for everything, True -3bb and PEA. What is more, I have to do this only once. The next month I just press history, click on the previous payment, select redo transaction, and it will again show me the amount due. But then again, I don't live in the past and move on with the times. -
Stolen iphone got sold to electronic shop, what now?
BenStark replied to abaganov2's topic in General Topics
Wrong guess, it will most likely cost you money to get the police interested, and then you probably still have to pay the shop owner. My advice is, if the phone is worth much more than that, pay him and be done with it. Other option is to get as much recorded evidence where the shop owner admits he has your phone, then go to the police -
Anyone can advise where exactly Advice is located now? When I google it, it takes me to south Pattaya road, somewhere between Friendship and the traffic lights, but when I enable street view I can't see anything that resembles that shop shopfront. Thanks
