  1. You still have to report. Up to you if you want to risk the 2,000 Baht fine.

  4. Your Wife can go to the local Amphur and get a copy for around 20 Baht. Really easy to do. She just needs her ID Card. Do it every year.
  5. The fact that Immigration officers are compliant does not make legal.
  6. There is something that says it has to be there 2 months before application. Plus 2 or 3 months after. Plus 400,000 for the rest of the year. So yes it is illegal.

  8. The 30 days are added to the original 60 irrespective on when the application is.
  9. If applying in USA that would depend on what the Embassy in USA requires for a Non Imm O Visa.
  10. Better to arrive with a Non O Visa if possible. If not then a Tourist Visa or a Visa Exempt Entry will do. Medical Insurance is not needed. Your biggest problem might be opening a bank account. You might need an agent to help with that. For a fee of course.
  11. Probably better to arrive on a Tourist Visa and apply for the Non O and extension once in Thailand.

  18. Was your marriage Certificate issued in Thailand? If not you need to register in Thailand. Kor Ror 2 document also need every year. Get this at your local amphur at a cost of 20 Baht.
  19. Both are pretty easy to do. Retirement needs more money in bank/income. With marriage you can work with a work permit. With retirement you cannot.
  20. A VOA cannot be extended. A Visa Exempt Entry can though. I suspect you have one of those. Two totally different things.
