  1. The guy on the left is there for the Zebra crossings only, which is why he has the red flag, only the guy to the right standing in the middle of the intersection is doing traffic control.
  2. You go inside the cage, cage goes in the water, you go in the water, sharks in the water, our shark? Farwell and adieu to you, fair Spanish (I mean German) ladies 😉
  3. It's never to do with safety, it's fate, so this must be fate that this happened.....just bad karma I guess.
  4. Just another reminder that the "rules for thee" still underpin the hypocrisy of the Elite.
  5. There's no money it for them, the RTP is a mafia, not a police force.
  6. I would be too embarrassed to be one of these officers in this photo, this is the big catch of the day? A short overstayer who shows up at an airport, what a catch guys! lol
  7. The choice was safety or convenience, as usual, a Thai chose poorly.
  8. I would put Thailand at the bottom of almost any list, not sure what appeal this place has to some people, I just find it to be a cesspool. I'm sure it appeals to pedophiles, barstool warmers, and scammers....but anyone else? Not much.
  9. One of many reasons why I have had Kwilco on my ignore list for some time now 😉
  10. I live very close to the Impact Arena where the 41st International Thai Motor Expo is held, based on the lack of traffic this first opening weekend, the car market looks dead.
  11. The death toll on the roads, that seems to mean nothing to them.
  12. In another article they stated Thai boats routinely enter Myanmar waters to fish, defying warnings.
  13. I assume the government believes those killed have no value, thus no need for change, they use it as population control.
  14. Thai moto: We don't need no stinking rules! Safety, what is that?
  15. I could walk my neighborhood here and write out millions of baht in fines per day, doesn't take a rolling patrol to do that, they just need to leave their AirCon offices and get it done. Otherwise why even employee them, to sit around and do nothing all day?!
  16. Where does ticket money go? Maybe the government can tell the RTP to write more tickets and use that for their budget, if they don't already. They could make billions of baht per month with the amount of lawlessness going on out on Thai roads.
  17. I still don't understand why we don't have counter-attack systems for this, a swarm of attack drones that kamikaze into these things, thus removing them as a threat. I would think it would be simple to create these attack drones, using onboard camera systems to obtain a lock, then attack and kill. Could be setup and ready to go at a moments notice, and they could work as a group, overwhelming any drone that comes within targeting range.
  18. A demonstration of Thai safety standards, nice.
  19. The restaurant should seriously think about closing at an earlier hour, try 9-10pm. Nothing good happens after midnight, nothing.
  20. Just another reason to make sure you don't drive here in Thailand without a dashcam (front/back), to protect yourself.
  21. Maybe just stop smoking, that would be a "safer alternative".
  22. Would be nice if there was a dashcam to confirm who was at fault, I wouldn't be surprised to see the truck moving into the right lane without looking before making its turn, thus blocking the whole road.
  23. Teens out at almost midnight? Where are the parents?
