We shouldn't have been screwing around in Russia's backyard to begin with, anyone with half a brain would have known Putin would annex Crimea where he had an important military base to protect. This whole thing at this point is nothing more than a cash grab for the military industrial complex and politicians looking to grab their share of loot in the process. Meanwhile people are dying in this lost proxy war, and the cost to rebuild after it is all done will be worse yet.

I live in Mueang Thong Thani, it is what amounts to the "Wild West" over here, no road laws or rules are followed, and absolutely no police enforcement of any kind. I don't know if the police are even allowed to police this area, I believe it's considered some type of large private community. I compare it to the slums of New York, its a pit for which I wish I never moved, all I hope every day as that we can get out of here and never come back. I am all ears if someone can suggest an area of the city with good police presence/enforcement and a decent and safe English school program.

You're naive to believe you can stop the money, the best course of action is to stop the career politicians who control the money and never leave.
