  1. As someone else stated, you choose 2. As a foreigner, If you are tax resident in Thailand, the CRS reporting will go to Thai RD and to your home country tax office. Anyway, good to see you are proactive going around to financial institutions to update your CRS status in advance of them requesting the info.
  2. Do you honestly believe that? it's just another Russian hollering in the echo chamber. They are trying to get a reaction but nobody responds and it makes them look weak. Just like that Dmitry Medvedev, constantly yapping on the sidelines.
  3. Try deemoney, they seem to remit to Switzerland but they only allow 800000 baht per day.
  4. Take a look at this doc from RD website. https://rd.go.th/fileadmin/user_upload/kormor/eng/ITA_Kung_Proofed.pdf
  5. In Thailand there is no tax to pay. Just keep all records of the origin, reason and transfer of the money should anyone query it later. You may also consider to get a Foreign transaction certificate from the bank should you want to repatriate it later.
  6. That 200 Baht is a service fee, not a tax. Tax transfers...Why? The receiving banks do not know the origin and history of the money. The tax authorities already have their laws, revenue codes and orders and what not to control taxation.
  7. Withholding tax on transfers...LOL
  8. If they do that, Thailand will be a unique country for taxation in the world.
  9. It should also be designed for a certain amount of time and with these specific types of roof coverings there should be O&M manuals and periodic inspections. The question is were they doing that? There should be records of them from the building maintenance crew.
  10. Where did you read that? There are certain rules on bank accounts. If after 1 year of no transactions on the accounts they become dormant. The bank continues to take an annual fee from the account and once the remaining funds in the account are depleted the account will be closed. If the account is active, funds going in and out there should be no problem.
  11. Well everyone is free and has a choice.
  12. Ermm - documentation?
  13. Does it state in the tax code that savings is income? For most people income is money earned: ordinary income ie. from Investments, interest, dividends, salaries and wages. Income from capital gains.
  14. jus sanguinis noun The right of citizenship in a nation acquired by being born to a parent or parents with citizenship in that nation. The principle that a person's nationality at birth is the same as that of his natural parents. Thai nationality law includes principles of both jus sanguinis and jus soli. Thailand's first Nationality Act was passed in 1913. The most recent law dates to 2008. Jus sanguinis[edit] The law of bloodright is the primary mode of acquiring Thai nationality. Any person who is a child of a mother or a father who possesses Thai nationality is a Thai national at birth under Section 7 of the Thailand Nationality Act.[1] Jus sanguinis via the paternal line requires a submission to appropriate authorities indicating legitimacy of the child, or a DNA test proving a biological relationship.
  15. Not only that but one is dealing with a faceless organisation. The complaint is through the app and they accept the complaint and then you never hear from them again. For the odd 1300 Baht fare it would not be worth the time and effort and stress back and forth with them.
  16. i don't know how it works here but in another country the app quotes the fare before one starts the journey. Then one has to be careful of the tricks the drivers have where before they arrive they tell you they have arrived at your pick up point but they are not there and the fare start rising for waiting time. Also in the app the address location of the destination has to be exact, some times it is in the same vicinity when you select the address and when you tell the driver to go to your real address location the fare starts rising. But all in all Bolt is quite a good app for transport and it is much much cheaper than taxis or renting a car in my home country.
  17. Here is a youtube short of her modelling. No doubt she is beautiful.
  18. A person born to a Thai parent are Thai, no flexibility about it at all. She also speaks fluently in Thai.

  20. Banks withold tax on interest because it is in law and part of the revenue code and guidelines.
  21. This is many years ago now. One year I had brought some income into Thailand which I thought was subject to tax in Thailand. I went to my nearest tax office, quite friendly people, and they did not understand what I wanted to do. This was in about October month so they looked at my bank book with incoming deposits and suggested to sum up the whole lot of deposits and fill in the tax form and pay tax. I said no thats not how it works, I want to pay tax only on the income I had earned and brought into the country the same year it was earned and explained again. They were confused so sent me to another tax office where I spoke to a manager. They understood, took copies of all the relevant doc, i handed it over to them and they filled in the tax forms and I ended up paying something like 400 baht tax. All in all it was quite a pleasant experience and nothing like the suspicion, grilling and unfriendly attitude of tax people in my home country.
  22. As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There are millions of people over 40 who are naturally beautiful.
