I would surmise that the OP is 100% Thai bashing trying to elicit a response and support the morality question in favour of a certain viewpoint which certain people apply selectively. Many western countries manufacture and peddle armements to many dubious countries around the world which are used to maim and kill, where is the morality in that.

2 year temp driving license is only for use in Thailand. Cannot get an international driving permit on a 2 year temp driving license. -
Alert: Structural Issues on Rama 2 U-turn Bridge
freeworld replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Can asure you of your wrong assumption. As others pointed out it is settlement/movement and crack in the parapets. A slight settlement in the foundation shows wide crack in the bridge parapet although strange it did not appear in the expansion joint on the centre between the 2 spans. -

Yesterday bought a ticket to fly udon thani to bkk. Price advertised 1100 baht. Proceed with the booking there are all the addons, insurance box is already ticked which one could opt out, all other things do not need. Proceed to finalise the booking there is a payment fee 107 baht for air asia. Finalise the booking the booking form shows that an additional payment fee 30 baht for 7 eleven. All in all a 1100 baht flight is now 1350 baht which is almost 23% more costly. -

You can always look at the demo models in the store, select one you want, compare the price with the online one and order the cheapest at the cheapest price. Take care to order an online one from a reputable supplier though for price warranty delivery installation etc... Brick and mortar stores have staff, overheads and profit to cover. Not really hard is it.

Download and create a bootable installation of windows using MS tool from their website. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d Plug usb into the pc and enter bios to select usb as the priority boot device. Reboot and follow the installation instructions. You can delete/format all the partitions for a new installation. All in all, installation and windows config will take about 1 hr. For such a newish pc I would think the windows licence is stored in the bios and its already recognised/activated by MS during windows installation. If you want to reset bios to factory settings, enter bios and reset save then reboot the pc.

What is described is nothing to do with the brand or make of laptop. It is only a browser app, basically nothing to transfer from another laptop. Just install firefox from their website on the new notebook and configure/set the search engine to the one you want in the browser settings to google, bing or duckduckgo.

Credit Card in Thailand
freeworld replied to Robin's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Nope, the fixed deposit held by the bank as collateral is completely seperate from the credit card. The secured deposit for the credit card is the credit limit for the card. The credit card then functions exactly as any other unsecured credit card. It is not a debit card. Why would the OP not use his own money on à debit card to purchase a 3000 dollar air ticket or just contact his bank to get his foreign credit card released from the block. In any event it would take a few weeks to get approved for a Thai credit card. -
Fujitsu LIFEBOOK E5410 Data Sheet Fujitsu LIFEBOOK E5410 extract: Durability is Military Standard MIL-STD-810H tested Probably used the wrong wording; grade. Should have used the wording as stated on Fujitsu website for MIL-STD durability tested. Nevertheless it is a notebook for business.

If in Bangkok, try Pantip Bangkapi. Shops named Mahaprom and others on the 2nd floor, they have quite a few 2nd hand lenovo and other notebook brands in quantities. Also 2nd hand notebooks available in Zeer rangsit. This new Fujitsu military grade notebook avalable from npm store in zeer for 8500 baht seems like a good deal. Can also add more ram if reqd for quite cheap. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/2-notebook-fujitsu-lifebook-5410-core-i3-10110u-21ghz-i4424970805-s17696865254.html
