  1. Nope, he refers to mm which is a unit of length, Wires are measured by their cross sectional area which is expressed in square mm (mm2 not mm), in Europe at least.
  2. errrmmmm, electric wires are measured in square millimetres, not mm. 22mm would be rather short for a cable and if it was a diameter it'd be huge, enough to supply a small factory, even for aluminium.
  3. Mine would be deemed a work of friction. I can picture my book's title: "Confessions of a vvanker"..
  4. And that's the lot of most Thais, like you, isn't?
  5. And you got "solar power". Thai ladies tend to brag about their partner's capabilities.
  6. I didn't ask myself that kind of questions. Just couldn't be involved with a girl and let her [just] survive on 30k, while I was making 600k. Would have been preposterous IMO.
  7. Why a bar girl? Any Thai lady may need some financial support. My wife was working in one of those tour agencies in Patong when I met her, and was making up to 30k a month. In those years I was making around 20k USD a month, so I thought a monthly allowance of 50k Baht was ok. And to reassure @scubascuba15 years later we are still together and had very decent sex last night.
  8. Yet another beotian comment. Many of those who really like Indian food would know that it can be paired with many different wines. While some Indian restaurant, mostly the more classy ones have limited wine lists, they don't satisfy the real "connaiseur". Indian Hut, run by people with class will let you pair their food with your own wine for a modest corking fee of about 300 Baht. Also, I find it interesting that all places recommended here are located in "Mongers' district", while other areas such as Silom/Banrak have so much more to offer.
  9. Have you misspelled "Loei", your list is so long that one would expect you'd mention even that.
  10. Indian Hut is the best in Bangkok. You can bring your wine.
  11. Have u been started on medication for Prostate issues?
  12. No, I said this could be a potential issue as a comment to @Mpoll report on the transfer of his LTR visa into his new passport; why did they have to record he arrived in Thailand in 2017 on an OA?
  13. If that was so, and I agree it should be, but TIT, why would they insert into @MPoll's passport two stamps showing that he arrived in Thailand in 2017 on an OA visa?
  14. Actually, I wonder if the whole story isn't an RTP publicity stunt. The whole thing is very reminiscent of training videos. No apparent stress, from both the perp and the officers.
  15. Just another thread, so representative of the AN population...
  16. They don't have tazers? That's exactly what they are made for.
  17. Yep, work for the government pays for the pension and healthcare, the private practice pays for the BMW.
  18. There is something I find fascinating with this thread: I flicked through the 4 pages of it, and I didn't see any mention of children. I reckon that the posters here have lost the plot; you can't have any meaningful, long lasting relationship with a woman without having a family. Apologies, just saw @kingstonkid's post; u r the shining light man..
  19. A pale copy of the B787.....
  20. If she wants to have it both ways , I'd rather do it to her aunt.
  21. I tend to look at that from a different angel.
