Yet another beotian comment. Many of those who really like Indian food would know that it can be paired with many different wines. While some Indian restaurant, mostly the more classy ones have limited wine lists, they don't satisfy the real "connaiseur". Indian Hut, run by people with class will let you pair their food with your own wine for a modest corking fee of about 300 Baht.
Also, I find it interesting that all places recommended here are located in "Mongers' district", while other areas such as Silom/Banrak have so much more to offer.
