    I was on a train once with my girlfriend. 2 40ish ladies sat across from us.Being Thais all the food came out and when we had all finished with the plastic bags,food trays,water bottles etc,we all put our rubbish in a supermarket plastic bag.One of the ladies opened the carriage window and slung the lot out.

    This isn't new to Thailand. 20 years ago lots of backpacker rooms on Khao San Rd had a "no Israelis" sign on the front desk. And there wasn't many left in Germany in 1945.
