  1. This is very on point to the topic.
  2. He's trying to wear us all down to passivity as Putin did to Russians.
  3. I get why Thai kids like him. For me he's vomit inducing.
  4. It's hard to know. Having been a VP influence a lot of people. Depends on the number of and dynamics of the competition.
  5. Definitely not. She has zero interest in doing that.
  6. It's impossible to predict the political mood in 2028 if there is a real election then. So therefore it's impossible to predict what sort of candidate would be the best as well.
  7. Like I said I'm not a big fan. But in many ways she was served an unfair deck by the timing of Bidem's exit. So we saw something historically weird and difficult. So I'm just saying she deserves to compete in the primaries
  8. For Trump not at all surprising. Painfully stupid but the kind of thing the cult will love.
  9. Steve Bannon? 'Nuff said. Trump is certainly a man in full alright. Full of ....
  10. Not a big fan but I think except for a few major errors, she ran an incredible campaign. But the people wanted fascism, cheaper eggs, and to scapegoat immigrants and LGBT people. In fairness, she deserves another shot to COMPETE for the nomination if there is a real election by then.
  11. Just watch us. Opinion | JB Pritzker: Democrats’ anti-oligarch oligarch - The Washington Post www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2025/05/05/pritzker-president-trump-resistance/ America’s super-rich have far too much political power: We were overdue for the “fighting oligarchy” movement that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) has started. But I have to admit that one of my favorite politicians these days is worth nearly $4 billion. Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker is an essential figure in the Trump opposition, and Democrats should give him a serious look as a presidential candidate based on the leadership he is showing now. What’s so special about Pritzker? First of all, and most important, he’s more clear-eyed about Donald Trump and the Republicans than many in his party. Around the start of the president’s second term, when many Democratic politicians were rejecting the idea of another sustained resistance, Pritzker was already anticipating that Trump would govern in an authoritarian way and promising to be a bulwark against him. Others in the party now sound more like Pritzker did three months ago.
  12. Exactly my reaction. A novel twist on the classic -- when did you stop beating your wife. Take this kind of thing with a big pitcher of a salt injection.
  13. Abandon all hope. Even New York doesn't have a New York State of Mind now.
  14. I picture him in an Abe Lincoln style tall hat.
  15. He's a man now and involved in financial scams. He's the lowlife like the rest of his grifter crime family. There was hope he would be different but that's over.
  16. Most Americans don't watch movies with subtitles. That's tariff enough! Trump acts more and more everyday like a tin pot dictator. Make America North Korea Again!
  17. Not sure how what Thai restaurants do in Indonesia threatens them unless they're competing in Indonesia. I've been "guilty" of photographing many a menu in my time but never for commercial purposes.
  18. What are you on about with blmfem? Are you in grade school? Anyway, occasionally Trump is doing something that I like. Recently he has done some good things for Ukraine. It's pissing off his Putin loving maga base. Of course he changes back and forth and can never be counted on for anything long term. As far as Barron (what a name!) it was clear that Melania was shielding him very well during his childhood but of course at his age, she is wisely setting him free to be what he will be. What he is becoming as a young adult with grifting scams already may have been predictable but it does not reflect well on his character.
  19. Sorry for you that you haven't bothered to follow the news. Absolutely the recent massive cuts to SS staff are from the Trump regime (via Musk. etc.). Obviously that is going to strain already strained service. That is objective FACT. Worker cuts at Social Security are roiling the agency : NPR www.npr.org/2025/04/26/nx-s1-5368480/social-security-workforce-cuts
  20. Being tall is usually a big advantage in US politics. However he is freakishly tall and doesn’t even play basketball. I had hope for him until he started to participate in scams and helping criminall Daddy get elected. Innocent no more. Oh well.
  21. That's true about need to transition.
  22. Not true about everyone. So calm down. However there are additional issues with starting claims and changing bank accounts that will require in person visits for some. Also service is greatly degraded due to massive staff cuts by the Trump regime.
  23. Exactly. He's now an active player in his authoritarian crime family and word is that he has presidential ambitions.
