I've tried Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn. Bangkok Bank doesn't recognize it at all. Kasikorn shows the correct payee but not the amount due. and when the amount is entered, rejects it anyway.

I've been paying a few years via using their QR code to pay online from a bank. Recently I got a bill but impossible to pay by QR code trying two different banks. Someone else reported the same problem so not sure if this is universal or something about our accounts. In any case I don't have a yellow book and don't want to bother getting one, It was mentioned you can show up to City Hall to pay. OK. Is it OK to just show up with bill and passport or is it necessary to haul in a pile of documents?
