  1. They can be trans women.
  2. Again, instead of being "annoyed" by Pride Events which nobody is making anyone to participate in, be happy if you live in a country where people have the freedom to have such events.
  3. No doubt, but if you're a foreigner and you want to buy some if it becomes illegal again, you could easily get snitched on, forced to pay a massive bribe / or sent to jail, then deported. This is an expat forum and we have risks Thais don't.
  4. Wait for the laws to happen but it's logical to assume that if they reclassify weed as a narcotic that non medical "recreational" users will be arrested as before.
  5. It's not that he didn't agree. He lied and made up stuff. Of course being anti LGBT politically in the west anyway is a very right wing thing. You can't honestly deny that. I am not shoving anything down your throat but it's interesting that homophobic bigots are always using such sexual language. Perverted lifestyle? LGBT is not a lifestyle, are you visiting from the 1970's, and by calling LGBT perverted at least you are being open and honest about being a total BIGOT.'
  6. I question the wisdom of making legislative policy based on opinion polling but there is nothing wrong with looking at it. Ideally leaders lead their public with more enlightened policy. But nobody is saying Thailand or anywhere is an ideal world. The polling if true indicates that Thai public opinion is rather backwards compared to many nations on cannabis policy. So I suppose it means when they go ahead with whatever going backwards change that's going to happen such as reclassifying cannabis as a narcotic, they will have political cover.
  7. Such a sleazy lying posting game you play. You bait people and then you intentionally blatantly distort the information. For one example: In what alternative universe is requiring parental permission the same thing as TOTAL BANS! States are banning gender-affirming care for minors. What does that mean for patients and providers? | AAMC I get it -- you're a right winger on these issues, you have the right to your political POV, but stop lying. Don't bother replying. You are incapable of posting in GOOD FAITH about this. Waste of my time getting baited by you, and waste of the reader's time too.
  8. To add, global Pride events do indeed have and have always had a political aspect and after the expansion from its origins in the US an international awareness. Throughout the world we have a wide range of civil rights situations from excellent to death penalties. In Russia now just Identifying as LGBT makes you an enemy of the state subject to long prison terms. It's a good sign if your country is legally allowed to have Pride events. In much of the world they are illegal or are subject to violent attacks by the public and sometimes police.
  9. I'll reference the US and Thailand. The trend in Thailand is positive. The trend in the US is extremely negative with the rise of maga fascism mirroring anti LGBT Putin fascism. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/22/us/politics/after-roe-republicans-sharpen-attacks-on-gay-and-transgender-rights.html https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-politics-and-policy/75-anti-lgbtq-bills-become-law-2023-rcna124250 From drag bans to sports restrictions, 75 anti-LGBTQ bills have become law in 2023 Restrictions on gender-affirming care for transgender youth were the most common, with 21 such laws passed this year. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_in_Thailand Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in Thailand have several but not all of the same rights as non-LGBT people.
  10. Your post makes no sense to me. They weren't too busy in Moscow.
  11. No. There are pride events all over the world. There have been right wing violent attacks on them in the U.S. and Europe. This is about Islamist terrorist threats to them. I believe the threat is real.
  12. Which country?
  13. If Trump pushes this I suggest that Biden agrees but also demands a thorough psychiatric examination. Trump could never agree to that for obvious reasons The man is insane.
  14. I'm hearing lots of resentment moaning from intolerant people.
  15. You sound confused.
  16. Pack of lies.
  17. I have. Completely ridiculous and clueless..You seem to be suggesting that LGBT people have full civil rights. In a few countries yes close. In many others going backwards quickly. Again arrogance and now ignorance.
  18. Your posts are. You are also terminally literal. The Irish Pride thing was obviously just one example of many. Nobody complains about other groups having 'special" party times. Only against LGBT which attracts all kinds of ugly backlash from igorant bigots including violent attacks. In many parts of the world not even allowed. Not interested in your some of my best friends crapola.
  19. Don't be so willfully ignorant. Nobody is saying a person without a womb can get pregnant. You're angry over things you've been riled to be angry about by fascist politicians. Pathetic.
  20. Your arrogance doesn't shine well.
  21. What visa? What work? Yeah Thailand is cheaper if you're making more money than the average Thai. Otherwise, not so much. At least they didn't move to Russia.
  22. It's common sense that Hamas can't be defeated without troops on the ground (duh), but the bigger question is whether Hamas can be defeated at all.
  23. Considering that the U.S. got their prediction of a terrorist attack in Moscow at a concert proved to be correct even though Putin didn't listen, suggests people should listen. This is such a wide warning though geographically.
