Yeah not so unusual not to have accessable income that requires filing. I don't for last year and won't for this year either. Americans only bringing in Social Security will NEVER need to file. IF immigration starts requiring tax filings for extensions, there's going to need to be a way for the many people that simply aren't required to file to clear that hurdle.

Boycott of US goods spreading worldwide poor donald

Biggest landslide in history. Another post truth world pail of ridiculousness. Trump is "fixing" America alright. Fixing to sink it down the toilet. -
Note -- you don't need to be a "leftist" to oppose Trump. You just need to support defending the constitution, the rule of law, the U.S. governmental system which used to check the power of the president, the truth vs. the post truth world, and not wanting a God/Dictator/King serving as president along with an unelected richest man in the world co-president. In other words -- a typical REAL conservative American.

I'm sure that the 80 percent of people that I knew in my 20's that died young would be glad to hear it was all a fraud. -

Thailand Yet to Finalise Policy on Taxing Expats’ Overseas Income

Why would I file? I remitted zero baht last year. This year I will remit but it will be zero baht accessable income so again won't file. I'll file when required. Duh. -

This has nothing to do with CRS. It's up to tax residents to report accessable income whether the TRD knows about the sources or not. It's easy to demonize firms trying to provide information. It's up to us of course to filter the information and decide what actions to take or not to take as we're all adults. -
OK I had a well used Android box just fritz out on me the other day. There was something on the screen about HDMI and then it went kaput. No reponse at all to powering up anymore so decided it was game over on that one. So ordered a new box and found it impossible to set up. It won't accept internet by LAN or wireless but I know they work as they did for the old box and the wireless works directly to the TV. I then tried connecting from a mobile hotspot -- just the same the Android box could not be connected to the internet. It does see the wireless sources so can choose and enter correct pwd but just always fails to connect. So I'm thinking either the box is defective or there is something very weird with my setup. I'm sending the box back and it will be either fixed or replaced, but I'm kind of expecting to get a new box that they say will work and find the same problem. I had considered it might be about my router settings which I haven't looked at but again the router does work for the tv and did work for years on the old box. I've tried all the usual troubleshooting things to no avail but I did buy a new lan cable which I haven't tried yet. Any ideas?

But that is incomplete. If the withdraw was from a fund composed on non-accessable money, then it would not be a tax event to withdraw it in Thailand. But there would need to be records showing that in case of audit. -

We're talking about different things and I'm finding your line of posting tedious. Wait and see how TRD treats such withdrawals. If they include them, then the question will be about the specific source of the withdrawals (accessable or not). Thailand will definitely be able to see those transactions. No, they won't know whether the source is accessable or not. Pretty much the same as wire transfers. It's up to the tax resident to report accessable remittances. -

I think you're confused. That's about sharing between nations. Not about what any country can gather about transactions within their own countries. Also of course it would no problem to identify international ATM transactions done within countries. You seem to be about worrying about being caught. The real question is what the eventual rule will be for ATM transactions that represent remittances.
