  1. The opposition to maga fascism is obviously and understandably in deep crisis and confusion now. It lacks a leader. Jeffries , Schumer, Harris, AOC, and certainly Biden aren't that. The key conflict looks to be whether to go more hard core populist but on the left or whether to pivot to the right. Clearly DC establishment insiders are out. The people demand authenticity regardless. I'm not sure at this point what is best to regain power or even if it will be possible to regain power after the maga fascists Orbanize/Putinize the election system. The midterms look to be the most consequential in American history though. A big expectation which I share is that Trump is so horrible for example his recent cut off of all Medicaid portals, his truly disgusting response to the DC air crash, etc. that there will be a tsunami of organic backlash.
  2. Stop lying! He called for nothing of the kind and you know it.
  3. Fetterman is a joke. Bernie speaks. Fight back.
  4. I would like to see the minority leader in the senate replaced. Chuck Schumer is way too weak tea for these tragic times where we have a wannabe fascist dictator as president trying very hard to control everything in the government based on his insane ego alone, with checks and balances destroyed. He mouths some right things but his tone has the passion of wet noodle. There isn't much minority leaders can do at this point but of the little they can do, Jeffries is stepping up and Schumer is past his use by date. As far as fight in the streets, I don't see that as a call to violence. I see that as a call to protest. If he starts saying blood in the streets, send me a memo. Look what's happening in the country of Georgia. The street protests there against the Russian puppet that Putin pushed into power is the only hope to temper that evil.
  5. You give him too much credit for having a coherent ideology. He has no such thing. He's the greatest con man the world has ever known. He thrives on creating chaos and then claiming credit for fake fixing crises he has created. What he's doing is about the one thing he does care about. All attention on him. All power to him. He cares nothing about any people except for himself. He's a dangerous monster and it's still shocking how many people fail to see that.
  6. I don't find the OP's combo particularly wonderful but taste is subjective and I know what he means about the bliss of a magical combo. Had a Sichuan Chinese meal the other day that was memorable that way. Cold poached chicken in a chile sesame sauce Mala (hot and tingly) hot pot with sea bass filet Grilled cumin incrusted lamb skewer Rice of course
  7. Don't be so dumb. Americans won't take farm labor jobs so the crops. etc. will just rot and the farmers will go under.
  8. Maga -- the gift of white nationalism that keeps on giving.
  9. I meant before the talk loudly and carry a bigger stick demagogue felon threatened them.
  10. Are Panama, Dénmark, and Canada hostile?
  11. I think it's a real possibility. If it happens I hope Thailand doesn't retaliate against American expats.
  12. Well I'm in favor of deporting criminal non citizens but it should really be based on the individual cases. In other words the specifics of their immigration status and the severity of the crimes. For example peaceful prorests are allowed in the US even by non citizens. Violent protests are crimes. About the video of disrupting a class if they're students there the School should discipline or expel or if not have the police trespass them. It sounds like Trump's EO is another one of his overreaches. Also of course criticizing Israeli government policies should not be conflated with Jew hatred though of course in many cases it is used as a cover for that.
  13. Based on the picture the accused Israeli is decidedly white in color so ipso facto a farang in Thailand. Yes many Israelis are darker in color ot even Ethiopian. But not this guy. Next ...
  14. Considering his outrageous performance in response the D.C. air crash, it's hard to doubt this. Trump headed for a 'narcissistic explosion of unparalleled force' in new term: columnist

  15. Yes there is trolling and there is trolling. A lot of it is real. On his brilliant idea to deport U.S. citizens to El Salvador prisons (I think he's serious), is that even constitutional, and if not, would the maga dominant supreme court stop him?
  16. That airport should have been closed decades ago. The safety issues have always been known. Dulles was built to replace it. It could have been kept open for military and security purposes of course.
  17. Tucker is a no credibility fruitcake media whore clown darling of Z fascist Russians. On the other hand I wouldn't blame Ukraine for targeting Putin considering Putin has targetted Zelensky.
  18. Landing into DCA is really awesome as you can see all the iconic buildings and monuments. They were supposed to close DCA (for safety reasons) when boring but safe well out of town Dulles was opened but the politicians were too greedy about having their easy commute airport.
  19. Maybe another reason in this case was lack of respect for the competence of the money screening system here compared to a country like Norway. In other words, the perception true or not of less risk of being caught here.
  20. If it turns out that he is guilty (it's not looking good for him) I wonder why so many foreigners choose Thailand to commit such serious crimes instead of countries with more humane prison systems? Don't they know how horrific it is to be imprisoned in Thailand?
