  1. Have you tried the steps recommended by Netflix help centre. https://help.netflix.com/en/node/470
  2. Yes Boeing have some mayor current and ongoing issues, but do you really believe Airbus have never had issues? Couple of examples. https://simpleflying.com/airbus-investigating-unprompted-a350-descents/ https://aviationsourcenews.com/manufacturer/easa-issues-airworthiness-directive-over-airbus-a380-fuselage/ If you want full facts, you can research the EASA airworthiness data base. https://ad.easa.europa.eu/ Or FAA directives https://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies/airworthiness_directives
  3. Yes fully agree, Boeing have a lot of work to do, to get the company reputation repaired, if it is even possible. This type of incident also gives the media an easy and possibly sensational headline/story. I like this quote from a passenger looking out the window on the 757 200 “there was some panic onboard the plane at first, as passengers saw what had happened to the wing, "but the pilot had come back, looked at it, took some pictures of it, talked to the guys on the ground, said yup, proceed to Denver [they said], shouldn’t be a problem."
  4. Fully agree, aircraft involved, 757 200, registration N57111, was manufactured in 1994, but lets not let the real facts get in the way of some posters. The 757 200 has had 579 fatalities, since it started flying in 1982. Mayor incidents. 1990 - A Boeing 757-21B passenger plane, registered B-2812, was destroyed when it was struck by a Boeing 737 on Guangzhou-Baiyun Airport (CAN), China. 1995 - American Airlines Flight 965 impacted mountainous terrain 1996 - AeroPeru Flight 603, a Boeing 757-200, crashed into the sea off Lima, Peru 1996 - Alas Nacionales flight 301 crashed into the ocean 2001 - Flight 77 departed Washington-Dulles at 08:10 for Los Angeles. The aircraft was hijacked by five terrorists, then crashed into the Pentagon 2002 - Bashkirian Airlines flight 2937, a Tupolev Tu-154M, and DHL flight 611, a Boeing 757-200PF cargo plane, crashed following a mid-air collision near Überlingen
  5. ThaiRSC gives daily and yearly totals for road injuries and deaths. https://www.thairsc.com/eng/ If you compare with most western countries, the big difference is motorcycles injuries and deaths, due to the amount of motorcycles in each country. UK general data and motorcycle specific data. https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/road-accidents-and-safety-statistics https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/reported-road-casualties-great-britain-motorcyclist-factsheet-2022/reported-road-casualties-great-britain-motorcyclist-factsheet-2022#motorcycle-traffic-and-reported-casualties
  6. Great post, but seems it was wasted on many. 5555555
  7. Excessive speed and poor driving, maybe more, combined to make a life changing situation yet again. Happens far too often. The driver had to very lucky to survive this impact. RPReplay_Final1708406167.mov
  8. Yes, those numbers were reported in Khaosod on 8 February, but links are not allowed to them. This report gives the background to why the increase is being requested. https://www.ttgasia.com/2024/02/19/arrivals-bounce-a-win-win-for-koh-samui/ Report states an extra 73 flights a day, but Khaosod says increased to 73. “The positive bump has also given more weight to a recent proposal to upgrade the island’s airport with new technology that will make the hub more efficient – able to handle an extra 73 flights per day – and more sustainable.”
  9. Your ability to just try to repeat my message, is another example of you lack of critical thinking. Bye, as I have better things to do than waste my time on people like you.
  10. Do you have to try hard to come up with your ridiculous posts or does it come naturally? Seems that facts and the truth just passes you by, is it nice in that alternative reality?
  11. Sorry I see Sunak has beaten them to it. 55555 https://www.bbc.com/news/av/uk-politics-68314723
  12. You do realise that by using a quote from the Guardian, that some of the conspiracy theory nut jobs, will never believe it. Waiting for the claims that the Guardian only prints left wing lies, and the reality is the Tory’s second place was really a moral victory, in their alternative reality. 555555
  13. You should be more careful on a public forum and should block out your personal details. You have posted your full name, picture and Bangkok Bank account details. Those details are not needed to get your point over.
  14. Sorry but that is a picture of the translated police order. Not my wording. (Full order below) There is the word ‘or’ between 3 and 4 Immigration wants to see the monthly transfer, as proof of that income.
  15. Thailand is classed category 2 country, under The International Aviation Safety Assessment Program (IASA Program) “Category 2 (Does not meet ICAO standards): The FAA has assessed the country's civil aviation authority and determined that it does not provide safety oversight of its air carrier operators in accordance with the minimum safety oversight standards established by ICAO” https://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/iasa/definitions CAAT (Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand) issues Air Operator Certificates (AOC) for Thailand. https://www.caat.or.th/en/archives/53484
  16. For retirement using the 800K funds method, the latest requirement is police order 35-2561 (Jan 2019). Amounts to be maintained, or further extension not granted. Section 2.22, item (4).
  17. Yes understand your frustration, and the agents have always had a deal with immigration, which involves sharing the extra payments.

  19. Sorry, but any visa exempt entry can be extended for 30 days, but only once, at your local immigration office. Example from Trat office. “Who can extend their tourist visa? Anyone who either has: A 30 Day Visa Exemption stamp. ( This is the stamp that visitors from most Western countries receive when they enter Thailand. )” https://www.tratimmigration.com/how-to-extend-a-tourist-visa/
  20. That is not good. Wish you luck with just over 2 hours. Just can not understand the reason why CAAT are not classing HDY as a CIQ destination.
  21. Hat Yai is an international airport, with immigration, just if you’re flying through BKK, these CAAT CIQ guidelines seem to apply. My concern is that this guidance may have been updated, so best to check with China Southern to confirm.
  22. I am not sure that Hat Yai is a CIQ destination. See CAAT (Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand) guidelines below. Not sure how current these guidelines are. http://aip.caat.or.th/2023-12-28-AIRAC/html/eAIP/VT-GEN-1.3-en-GB.html
  23. You think trump is just playing people for fools? Sorry but you need to look in the mirror and you may recognise a clown. You really are in an alternative reality. That is what happens when the only opinion you listen to is your own. I again remind you of you own post about you mental state!
  24. 787 Safety record shows zero fatalities to date. Worst incident was a ground fire in 2013 at London Heathrow, and several other battery related issues at that time. The FAA grounded the 787 on 17 January 2013 until 19 April 2013. https://aviation-safety.net/database/types/Boeing-787/database
  25. Yes sorry, 1080 baht is about getting a passport card. Not the best checklist I could have posted, but too late to edit now. 555555 But the advice about not being applicable, still applies.
