  1. Yes. And why on earth pray do tell someone of logic would there be different recommended vaccination ages between countries. I suppose the more enterprising countries have lower age threasholds?
  2. “Surveillance efforts” sounds rather ominous
  3. The average age of covid death is the real key. And of course it’s never reported
  4. I’d say if you’re unvaccinated and get the flu or whatever you guys want to call it a second time you’re looking at about 25% of the severity as the first time. Ymmv
  5. I think I have it because it exactly the same as last time, yet not as severe. It was bad for a day though. Also I never get sick in Thailand. Idk why I think it has something to do with the climate.
  6. I probably have it. I didn’t take a test so Not 100%. It’s very similar to last time. Cant get comfortable. Too hot, too cold. Achy. Day 1 woke up with sore throat but felt fine otherwise. Day 2 have been in bed all day, threw up once. Head is stuffy. No appetite. I’m just drinking water. Cant even watch tv I feel so bad although I think I feel a tad better now this afternoon. Hopefully it’ll start to taper tomorrow. All I ask is that I feel good enough to watch tv. Ha. I think tomorrow I will, maybe even this evening. I’m unvaccinated. If I had to guess remember to my first bout with covid I was in bed like this for a solid 3 day, maybe 4. So at this point I feel the infection is affecting me less but maybe wait on how I feel tomorrow.
  7. I had to buy a car when the pandemic started, I didn’t want to at all of course. I’m actually happy I have the car now but that is beside the point. I could not get anywhere! I contacted hotels, they would not have me. Etc etc etc It’s crazy how people are starting to lie and act like the vaccines and lockdowns affected nobody. Just flat out lying. I guess it’s the only thing that can keep them sane. In the village I went to in isaan during the pandemic, a lady would come over every time I arrived and asked for my id and vaccinations papers. I would mumble something to her about my vaccine papers (which I never had) and she seemed to get the point after a while but she’d take my id and take a bunch of records and ask me all sorts of questions. I felt lucky I could even go there unvaccinated but tbh I would not have been too put out if she would have kicked me out of the village so it was not too big a deal, I’m just reporting on how invasive it all was, and people now act like nothing happened at the time and it’s sickening. People just aren’t honest with themselves. I suppose it’s too difficult to be that wrong
  8. Most people that die of covid are very old. A death is not equal to a death. The real damning part about this story is even if we take this manufacturer at its word, which is a dubious prospect, they have a product people don’t want? What does that say about it? I thought it was supposed to be saving all these lives. People break down doors to get to life saving medications. They don’t turn them down for free.
  9. I know a girl who doesn’t qualify so her plan is to set it up for her mom and pocket the funds. You know, Thais always family first
  10. They told people what they wanted to hear. It’s exactly like if you ask a thai street food vendor if her food is arroy. She’s a business person of course we know the answer. It’s 100% arroy
  11. My problem with agoda is they take a huge cut and if you like a hotel it’s really better all the funds go to the hotel. Credit cards work this way too the credit card company takes a cut. I think in the long run cash and face to face is better for everyone
  12. The way Thais think through things is to just do it and see and that is their thinking period. I guess they thought they didn’t like it.
  13. What about masking in between bites and sips on airplanes. A personal fav. I’m sure the covidians will even deny they did this
  14. One of the most telling signals of complete Jewish domination is Hollywood elites. They are usually against giant baby killing operations. This time though, not a peep. Not even one of them comes forward. Tells us all how much control the Israel lobby has, those actors would never work again if they say a word. And everyone knows it, but it’s all a big secret that nobody can talk about at the same time.
  15. Title should be “70% believe the propaganda that is fed to them by the corporate backed news”
  16. Another one. But do t worry folks, it’s “safe to drive a motorbike in Thailand”.
  17. If we boost all the kids and mask them they should be fine
  18. Reminds me of a Thai woman. Decide on something then the next minute change your mind. Why because the facts changed? No just because
  19. I don’t think people who are that bad at swimming are so stupid. A drunk person maybe. Well in short as I say I think it’s more the person than the threat of the phuket waters. A lot of things I said are misunderstood. The main thing I said though is you can’t really have strong “out” currents. Meaning water that pulls you straight out. A wave or waves can pull you out, but only very ephemerally. Water doesn’t move straight out in a constant flow to sea or else where would the water come from? It would disappear from the shore if that happened. Again as I say a surfer will rarely get a free ride out into the waves without paddling. But they will often be pulled to the sides, left or right, parallel to shore. People really don’t get it. My guess with the man is something foul or really stupid like being drunk or who knows what the hell. As Tony montana said maybe he was on qualudes
  20. People really do understand this topic so poorly I mean that. if you remember this in Thailand it may be gold: “rips” we will call them very rarely or I’d even say never pull straight out to see. They only do that in big waves when huge setup of waves pile up on the shoreline. That will pull straight out but it’s not going to be a common occurrence in Thailand, especially not right now with 3 foot waves. If you wanna prove this just watch a surfer paddle out. A surfer will never get a free ride straight out to sea. He always has to paddle. You’ll very commonly see one get pulled to the left or right though. Much more common are “rips” that will move parallel to the shore. And quite honestly this isn’t dangerous, you just swim straight in. Now of course someone can get confused and swim the wrong way. But again, you’d just let waves hit you if you have that option, don’t even duck them, and swim straight in. thats it. Another way to put what I’m saying is if you migrated the thai population out of Thailand and replaced them with Aussies you’d never have a drowning. That’s because there is no danger in thailand there are only really bad swimmers and dumb tourists. That’s what causes the deaths. If you wanna stop deaths in Thailand just get kids in the water more, idk it doesn’t seem very hard to figure to me. thanks for coming to my Ted talk in “rips” misunderstandings
  21. We’re still only a few years in when it comes to vaccines. Note vaccine development usually takes on the order of 5-10 years. I guess we are going through that period now. And one of them has been pulled. Yip yip, hurrah.
