  1. Not a very convincing analogy. Just because the Thai police don't crack down on kids riding motor bikes does not make it legal in any sense of the word. As far as the removal impact goes, I doubt it will be serious because the deportations will be gradual and the economy will adjust gradually. Hopefully, any negative impacts will be matched by similar positive impacts. As you say, we will have to wait and see.
  2. Forty-one is 2/3's of the 63 arrested. That's 41 more criminals we don't need or maybe you are okay with inviting more in to infiltrate your neighborhood.
  3. Interesting question. Could it be they are nearing the end of their useful lives and Americans want to take advantage of them before they are gone? Problem is that some don't even last for four years.
  4. Homelessness is a worldwide phenomenon. Here is what's happening in the U.S. https://endhomelessness.org/homeless-in-america/homeless-statistics/state-of-homelessness/ Let's see what the foreigner who likes to make snide remarks about U.S. politics has to say about this.
  5. I did not call you a loser. Guess you are not familiar with the great word salad maker of America. If you do not know who she is then you have not seen and witnessed enough to make credible comments on American politics.
  6. There is no doubt that wealthy contributors expect something in return for their donation. Judging by who gave and how much they gave is an indication who thought who was going to win and who was going to lose. Hmmm. Sounds like a word salad from the loser. Stereotyping one's supporters is a sure sign of ignorance. Trump's supporters have a background as diverse as America. Probably applies to Harris's supporters as well.
  7. Seems as enough voters thought better than a laughing hyena.
  8. Don't be naive. Who do you think got most of the aid from UNWRA and other foreign contributors? Did you see what was found in Sinwar's hideout after he was killed?
  9. More like Canadian dollars and not USD's.
  10. Well said. As for the video, there is never any excuse for that kind of behavior, drunk or sober.
  11. Would he think differently if the Pope made the contribution instead of Musk?
  12. The biggest problem with government run programs and facilities, other than waste and corruption, is how long it takes to get anything started. Too many layers of bureaucracy.
  13. I see a similar problem where I live. It is the protected Hawaiian goose and imported game birds that invade farms and gardens. A winery close to home has netting covering their grapevines. The birds have discovered a way to get under the protective netting and devour the grapes at will. Farmers are not even allowed to shoo the birds away.

  15. It's the American military that has protected us from the evil forces in the world. Without the men and women in uniform where would we be today? The problem is that we have lost our way and use the military to fight wars we have no business being involved in. The military has also become a money pit because of wasteful and needless spending. The DOD has failed every audit because it cannot account for all the money spent.
  16. A friend of mine asked me what's bad about socialists. I told him they love to spend others peoples money.
  17. I don't make those decisions. Keep it up. Posters like you soon disappear after being ignored.
  18. Takes a devious mind to think of those possibilities. Just kidding. Where I live property managers always rekey the locks when a tenant moves out. They sell locksets that are easy to rekey without a locksmith. They are a lot cheaper than I expected.
  19. IMO Trump knows how damaging tariffs can be to the U.S. consumer and has only used the threat of tariffs to get some concessions out of XI, whatever they may be. Some may say concessions that will benefit Trump, personally. I don't deny that but I think his prime motivation is to catch, for lack of betters words, off guard. No matter what, XI knows Trump is not bluffing if he doesn't get anything out of it.
  20. But I know someone who is right behind him.
  21. And neither do I, but there are others out there that do.
  22. I guess in your whole life you have never failed to let your guard down.
  23. At least give credit where credit is due. Thankfully, in all my years visiting Thailand I have never had any contact with them, the RTP.
