I used to go to the lake near Kap choeng with family and had good food and some cold beers.I preferred going to karaoke in prasat.Allways had fun there with my policefriend Cho who worked in prasat police Last time i was there all the foreigner karaokes in prasat closed because bad business.I visit my exwife parents everytime im in Thailand because their also my kids grandparents.Then i stay in prasat resort.400 bath a night.

I lived in kap choeng for 6 years before.Near koktakien School.Name of the village is Baan hinkoun.I used to go to karaoke in baan Parat.

I lived in a small village in surin years ago.I speak thai well and normally everyone was nice and polite. If a cheap Charlie came to the village everyone knows that and they told me so.Anyway not my business.But i feel sorry for the foreigner they talked about.When these foreigners visit me with their gf she sat down and complained about everything.I told their gf to stop gossip and better looking themself.After that they normally not visit me again and then i was a bad foreigner.

My advice to the OP is stay in Australia.I lived in Thailand before.Moved back to my country with my exwife and our kids. Never regret that.My kids well educated here Good jobs and a good salary.Good pension.Free medical...etc etc Moving back to Thailand will never ever happen.Its enough with holidays there.
