  1. Hello, did you film this footage yourself? Did you post anywhere else? Just a curiosity.
  2. If that Thai congressman really believes he is progressive and humane, better organize something else with which Poor Women don't have to resort to prostitution, in the first place. Sizable population of prostitutes here, simply the reflection of unsolved poverty issue in this kingdom.
  3. If so, just a matter of Demand & Supply. And someone else is "Filling in" the gap.
  4. MP Phanthira Nwamjerm from the People's Party has exposed a troubling situation unfolding in a condominium in Bangkok's Nana area, which is reportedly being rented out for prostitution on a daily basis. So what? This world is simply running on the basis of Demand & Supply. Nothing More, Nothing Less. Hardly looks like a real problem unless it is housing scammers, drug traffickers, or terrorists, and any other outlaws that victimize the innocent.
  5. At this stage, AI is far from Clever Enough. Net banking site's Virtual Assistants(AI) , often cannot understand plain language properly. And they quite frequently request "Rephrase". Even though it might be eventually smarter. While waiting for them to grow Mature Enough, mankind can start to head for extinction. While the lower birth rate of the 3rd world countries will reduce impact on Earth...
  6. Something cool for hot afternoon. Today's lunch: Chunky Cold Noodle, with various toppings. Ingredients: Yellow noodle, steamed chicken, (pre-cooked) carrot, onion, fresh cucumber, egg(for omelet), shredded shallot. Seasonings: Soy & oyster sauce, vinegar, sugar, grated garlic(for sauce, in the container). Grated ginger(for chicken). Chicken stock(for omelet),

  8. Better be prosecuted with Deadly Force. The only positive contribution that thing can ever make: To perish. Dead Sarawut is the good Sarawut.
  9. D.Trump, doing a remarkable job as the Rus agent. Creating ever growing cracks and tensions among US allies and US-Friendly nations.
  10. Your joke reminded me someone else's quote(another bit more serious and emotional though). Why buy or breed while stray dogs die.
  11. Only if It Pays LOL. Unmanned laundry for cost cutting.
  12. I first wondered if he is another pervert stealing female underwear. But he turned out to be the "Straight Ordinary" thief after famous brand clothing...
  13. Some news from this kingdom. Mother sells her underage daughter to clear her debts - Pattaya Mail And among very poor family in Thailand, it is not rare that their daughters work as prostitute in the place like Pattaya and other red light districts of various areas(incl. BKK), to send money to their parents back home. There are heaps of such people from northern and northeastern regions of this kingdom, as well from the background of urban poor. Haven't you heard anything like this by now, while you have been here for ages/ Pretending you are born yesterday?
  14. I have heard something about it many years ago. That attitude is deeply imbedded with their culture; way of their thinking. They often believe that questioning "superior" people is Impolite/Rude. In this context, teachers are well above students, in Thai definition. Asking question felt like that person didn't give them sufficient information. In other words, they feel as shaming him/her for "inadequacy " in public(in front of dozens of boys/girls). Apart from this topic, humiliating(causing loss of face to others) an adult in front of others, is known strictly No-No, in this kingdom.
  15. Hi, thank you for sharing your unique personal experience, with rather complex backgrounds. I am sorry to hear about what has been happening to you in the past few years. Have you thought about possible relocation to somewhere else in Thailand if the current location makes you feel uncomfortable for something you are not responsible for?
  16. Hi, thank you for your insightful comment. Have a good day.
  17. 1000% agree. That sort of things are increasingly common on global scale. debtors are recruited by scammers - Google Search
  18. Do they have any chances of "Appeal" where the innocent one was wrongly caught up in the automated search net, to prove he/she isn't anything dangerous? At this time, AI is far from perfect. They often mistake harmless comments on YouTube contents, for "Hate Speech". Not every Arab won't be a terrorist/or their sympathizer. Some (westernized one) genuinely escapes from own oppressive home, to the free country. Just a question from my curiosity...
  19. One best thing about here to me, being able to practice my own lifestyle undisturbed. And enjoy peaceful and quite life everyday. I have never felt more relaxed than here(anywhere else I have lived/stayed). Thais are known for their leniency to others with differences from them. As long as I respect what they value, they remain good neighbors. Apart from the lower cost of living here, than home country. I would say it is what I appreciate most, rather than something Exciting.
  20. Daily 30-60 minutes of exercise(not to heavy). Balanced diet(grain, animal protein, fruit and vegetables). Sound curiosity in things around oneself. Enjoyable conversation with others. Reasonable level of compassion to others. Feeling silent beauty of the natural phenomenon. Stay in the state of mind where can be felt Happy & Fulfilled. Lists of what I practice on daily basis...
  21. Scam Centers an Gambling site, on the border regions. They can be linked each other. Casino can create fresh gambling debtors. And they are recruited into illicit workforce for the underground industry like scamming. A kind of makes sense.
  22. Are these protestors trying to broaden the support basis of their cause(by using internet effectively)? Or just rallying on this particular spot(govt bldg)? If they are serious, they better do their best for No Voices from the millions. Otherwise, it is likely to end up as the Little Storm in a cup...
  23. Slavery in modern world. It is often the common problem in the 3rd world countries. There are quite a few cases where the parents of the very poor families sell their children for own survival/to clear their "Debt". Quite easy to reach for the info, related to that issue. 3 Big Issues Facing Girls in the Developing World Child selling - Wikipedia
  24. After all, Gambling is the Losers' Game. Statistically, 95% of the betters lose their money, instead of gaining profit. What percentage of people lose money gambling? - Google Search
  25. Mosty agree. (In any countries), those deep into gambling are often the poor with lesser education. And the Walk-In(anyone can enter) casino, will certainly worsen their situation. And it can also impact others who don't gamble. As increased gamble-debtors, can be an easy recruiting ground for the various scammers. And the scamming often targets ordinary people.
