  1. You should have done more research, because there is no law that allows US citizens to own land in Thailand. US citizens can own 100% of a company, in certain business sectors, but even that company can not own land Treaty of Amity Company Restrictions While the Thailand Treaty of Amity provides the above-mentioned advantages, the US citizen is also subjected to several restrictions stipulated in the treaty. The Thailand Treaty of Amity prohibits American investors from engaging in the following reserved activities: Communications Transportation; Fiduciary functions Banking involving depository functions; Land Ownership, Exploitation of land or Other natural resources; and Domestic trade in indigenous agricultural products.
  2. As another poster already pointed out, they were wearing 14 Oz gloves, which are actually designed for sparring.
  3. Rumors have it he's gonna change his name to FAKE Paul
  4. Well for a starter, in the original Thailand elite program foreign land ownership was included...........until it wasn't
  5. It may surprise you that they have competent computer software, which does all the work, while the government officials are laying on their lazy back.
  6. I really wonder why anyone is still interested in those Jake Paul fights, since each one has been only a show and pocket filler for him.
  7. So another arranged show fight
  8. I don't see anything wrong with the Netflix streams on my IPTV service, and can only imagine that it would be better directly from Netflix. Can't you change resolution in Netflix?
  9. You watching on Netflix or some free app?
  10. Because something changed in 2019
  11. How much are baked beans these days? Still not affordable at 59 baht?
  12. In tomorrow news. The court has summoned Thaksin to testify before August 2029, and they will issue a verdict no later than 5 years after that.
  13. Keep arguing mate, I gave you correct information. Mee Tae Dai has a branch version that pays 0.9% , and an online version that pays 1.5%, and can only be opened by Thai nationals. First you said it had the same name, but was online, then you changed it to it has another name. Since you obviously don't appreciate any help, you're now on my ignore list.
  14. Another investor who has only winners
  15. You definitely didn't open one online, as that can only be done by Thais, and pays 1.5% instead of the 0.9% you get
  16. You mean he may succeed in something the liberals never managed?
  17. A TIN is not only useful to PAY taxes, but also to CLAIM them. I havea TIN since several years, haven't paid a single baht in taxes ever, but have claimed over 100K in withholding taxes back over the years 🙂
  18. I was not referring to you but the ignorant who posted about the 4%. And the situation get even worse if you have to transfer for living expenses.
  19. You asked a question and I answered it, because you couldn't be bothered to look it up yourself online. .
  20. If you keep your funds abroad, like the proponent of it, then you don't have the choice to transfer only when the exchange rate is favourable, unless you live like a beggar on 10K a month. Also, the poster in question claims to get 4%, that is 2% more than you can get in Thailand. On the 800K deposit for your long term visit that is a difference of 16K, which is entirely lost on agent fees and transfer / ATM fees
  21. The difference is that the 1.5% one is for Thais only
  22. I thought BOT left interest rates unchanged at the last meeting. My European banks informed me last week that as of December 1 they will drop interest rates on all savings accounts by 0.2% I signed up for a 4 month fixed term deposit at Bangkok bank 2 weeks ago paying 2%. Longer terms fixed deposits were significantly lower.
  23. Seems by the lack of evidence to prove your claims, they are unfounded as in every post you made over the last 6 months. In other words, you got nothing
  24. I'm happy to exchange your US$ to Thai baht at the exchange rates known to you.
