Hi Win,
Now you mention it I think it is the Chinese Cemetary. I wasn't far from the railway station when I took the shot and am fairly certain I was on the railway staion side. Does that sound about right?
Karl :-)
That would sound good in the late afternoon from the railway station behind you on the main road of course and next to the Don Rak, Allied Cemetery in Kan
Will have a look this week-end.
And, Thank you for your photos by the way.

Some amazing photos so far! Not sure if mine can compete but thought I would post a few anyway.
This is at the Allied War Cemetary in Kanchanaburi
Hi KarloslnBKK,
Of which Allied Cemetery in Kan was that photo taken? as the sunsets in the west and your photo is pointing to the west (there is no such Cemetery in Kan as far as I know) or was this photo taken at dawn of the Chinese Cemetery next to the Allied War Cemetery ?

Hi Saggy,
(and of course the old ones)
Why are we in a bracket then?
As in Thailand we are "Pea" and the young ones are Nong.
Now that saddened me, as without "Old Ones" input 10 years ago this forum would like ...................
????????
Please if you have to give credit then give it first to the "Old Ones".
like the Thais do.
For sure all of our members made this forum what it is today and we "Old Ones" welcome each and everyone back into this fourm.
I thank you for your very good post.

I liked it better before the lightening.
The foreground got muddy.
I have never done HDR either. I think I will give it a try.
Yeah I prefer it too. Personally I hate HDR photos because they automatically make me feel physically sick. The greater the HDR effect the more I want to chuck up.
They are good for this though as long as you don't over do the HDR strength. It can look natural.
Your photos also makes some members do the same
but not me.
I wood take one photo and "tone map" it in Photomatix 4.2.......
It is much easier than 3-5 or more shots, it just takes ONE photo as I have posted a few times before on this forum.

Buddha head overgrown by a fig tree in Wat Mahatat in Ayutthaya historic park, Thailand.
Though the body is gone, the sandstone head is entrapped in the roots and lies beneath a Bodhi tree in the vicinity of Wat Mahathat in Ayutthaya. This piece of ancient antique is extremely precious albeit it is trapping under a tree. Look and appreciate but no touching please so that this piece of ancient-natural arts is preserved for everybody's enjoyment.
The construction of Wat Mahathat begun during the reign of King Borommarachathirat I in 1374 A.D. but completed during the reign of King Ramesuan (1388-1395 A.D.) The architecture of Wat Mahatat had several prangs of Khmer style. While the octagonal chedis showed the influence of Ceylonese.Win

Can we have a separate post for each photo please? It's difficult to like one photo in a multi photo post. Also camera/lens combo would be nice just for personal interest. There's some brilliant photos being posted.
Yes, Please.

i'm just a birdwatcher that sometimes takes photographs.... but here's a couple of my own fave's that have no real avians in them.
(as Tywais says minimum 1280 pixels wide, i've linked here at 'Large 1600' (wide) scale from Flickr...hope they're viewable to all.. much larger than i usually 'link' stuff - hopefully viewers browsers will accomodate/resize)
edit: *IMPORTANT - you must CLICK on each image to see it 'unsquashed'. The aspect ratio is way off....probably because of the 1600pixels wide link

Hi Folks,
Please remember that this is a Calendar Photo Contributions for The Thai 2014 Calendar, meaning April is Songkran, October is for King Rama 5, December is for His Majesty King Bhumipol Adulyadej of Thailand.
Just thinking aloud
