  1. I like how now nobody here even bothers to alter chat GPT's default formatting any longer.
  2. Don't you people ever tire of parroting this same old <deleted>? left this, right that, woke blah blah blah.
  3. if only the same could be said for tony. Despite his claims to the contrary he seems to be doing fine.
  4. But go with your logic. https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/less-pm25-pollution-higher-floors/?srsltid=AfmBOoo3xnZLYZLqJzkP_CUQRBU6CS_LIYW9gBg0kdRyOoA-lfE_k4ra this one states that pn 2.5 actually increases with height https://www.researchgate.net/publication/337793709_Vertical_Variation_of_Carbonaceous_Aerosols_with_in_the_PM25_Fraction_in_Bangkok_Thailand The analysis of data obtained in this study shows that average values of PM2.5 at observation heights of 30 m, 75 m, and 110 m increased slightly with height and were 6.21 ± 2.45, 8.12 ± 3.65, and 9.03 ± 3.93 µg m–3, respectively. OC concentrations at these observation heights were 4.13 ± 2.65, 4.01 ± 4.07, and 4.11 ± 3.58 µg m–3, respectively, and corresponding EC concentrations were 1.02 ± 0.84, 1.07 ± 0.95, and 0.50 ± 0.70 µg m–3.
  5. so why are you still posting? I reckoned you would be gone already, but still, you persist talking <deleted> about bargirls. Hop a flight already
  6. those of us living in bangkok are happy with 84 lately this am it was 150+. Again,
  7. You are deluding yourself, there are some differences in pm 10 levels but pm 2.5 is little better on higher floors. PM 10 is slightly reduced. There may be some reduction in traffic gasses, but particularly in areas where high rises are dense the street canyons could actually increase upward movement. All things considered, you aren't seeing much benefit unless you are 1000m up
  8. Where else would you expect to find them?
  9. I thought you had flounced off to friendlier tax climes
  10. it literally is just a drop in the ocean. As for thai being offended, I can barely leave the house without spotting some taxi driver pissing in the street. We had to put in a sensor light and a camera to stop them pissing against our front wall on a busy lower Sukhumvit soi
  11. it doesn't get worse year after year, it just gets more visibility as lurking netizens film ad post every indiscretion. nightlife used to be far more edgy
  12. Pool tables in bars in Thailand have very specific stringently applied rules. The level of play is also quite high in some venues
  13. <deleted>, time after time recycling has shown itself unviable except in perfect circumstances. The vast majority of household waste cannot be recycled because it is contaminated. People would need to carefully clean and process plastic paper products. The lions share of "recyclable" waste ends up in landfills.
  14. common sense -- give all drunks a wide berth
  15. loose loose indeed. Well said.
  16. this old bugbear again. Decades of prostitution, but protect the reputation. the headline is also misleading considering the whole article is speculation and the only wrongdoing is a local Thai attacking a tourist over a game of pool.
  17. arguably expats are higher visibility than regular than folks
  18. depends on the thai man and who the woman was. in some situations he would be burned at the stake, in others, not so much
  19. not been a great January for the Irish, i can think of a few that have hit the recent news and a good friend of mine passed unexpectedly while visiting home last week
  20. he didn't spank her, he slapped her ass. what kind of moron could claim they didn't know it was inappropriate? if you remove the sexual component, its still bad form to strike others of any gender,
  21. Show me where it says any of that in the news source.
