Canada customs has full authority to check your devices when you are trying to gain access to the country. Any social media account stored on said device is open to viewing and examination. If they feel warranted they can refuse entry based on information gathered this way. Should be noted that this has been happening long before OMB came into power. I would imagine many western countries also follow this same similar pattern.
