Another problem is that people park their cars right up to the edge of the crossing so when you are approaching you can't see if anyone is about to cross. By the time you can see anyone crossing it's too late to stop.

It's an important issue. If it leads to WW3 and the UK is nuked then my retirement is finished.

That is the key issue. Most people filing a return would probably find that some tax is due but offset by a DTA tax paid abroad. How is that dealt with?

I had the same problem and it took several letters/phone calls to sort out. HMRC would say it's up to DWP and the DWP would say it's up to HMRC !! In the end i got a letter from DWP confirming it was frozen which i passed onto HMRC.

I couldn't really read the forms, the writing is too small, but is there any line there which relates to the DTA exemption. If not it might appear to the Revenue that you do owe tax and you have to argue to get the DTA exemptions.

My understanding is that my UK Government pension is exempt and my frozen State pension is so small it is below the allowances. For the moment therefore i won't be submitting a return.

So anyone with a UK Government pension is exempt from Thai tax and doesn't need to make a tax return. Like you i have a very small frozen state pension, well below the allowances.

Yes i couldn't see one so if you filled in a return it would show that you do owe tax. How does the DTA work? One poster somewhere said he did a return and had to pay (a small) tax bill because the tax office knew nothing about DTAs.

I am looking for a SH bike but it's odd that with so many bikes around there are very few places that sell SH bikes. The only one i know is AMA Trading on Soi Buakhao but they only have a dozen or so in stock, mostly PCXs and Xmaxs. Facebook Marketplace is the only alternative but then you take a big risk that it might be a con or the bike is miles away and can not easily be inspected, or picked up.

The Russian army is pathetic. They have lost most of their tanks/guns against the weakest country in Europe. Even without increasing spending the EUSSR could easily withstand a Russian (non nuclear) attack. Current EUSSR defence spending is 500 billion compared to Russia's 100 billion. Our GDP is 20 trillion compared to their 2 trillion. Our population is 500 million compared to their 140 million. The only thing lacking in the EUSSR is guts.
