Gov'ts Fight to See Who Will Suck Up to Trump the Most.
SMIAI replied to Yagoda's topic in Political Soapbox
@Yagoda Did you have no love as a child? What makes a man so bitter and hateful? Why do you think Zuckerberg and the like fell into line so quickly? They will be spared the effects of his worst excesses. Fall into line and you will get tariff relief. It's a political play, directly from the KGB playbook. Pledge loyalty to Trump and your business/institution will be spared. The criminals have taken over. -
Concerns over a rush of last-minute enquiries mean anyone who requests a call back from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) on the issue will not be regarded as having missed the 5 April deadline. People can currently make voluntary extra contributions to plug National Insurance gaps back to 2006. But, after April's deadline, this will be limited to the previous six years only. Some people may have spaces in their National Insurance record if, for example, they have lived abroad or taken time off for caring responsibilities. In general, people need 35 years of qualifying contributions to get the full state pension. Top-ups have been permitted, as part of the transition to the flat-rate state pension, which was introduced in 2016. Currently, these can go back for nearly 20 years, but are due to return to the normal six years after April 5th. If you currently click 'view details' on any years for which you might want to make voluntary contributions, you automatically get another month to pay. People wanting more breathing space to buy top-ups should therefore request a callback as aforementioned, or click on 'view details' on years they might want to buy on their NI record, or do both.

Thailand Urged to Form ‘War Room’ in Response to US Tariffs
SMIAI replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
@Sir Dude Compete properly? Rigged market? https://www.epi.org/publication/rooted-racism-prison-labor/ You are elevating the USA to a gold standard, when it is anything but that. I hope they keep their crappy food and their greed is good attitude far away from my country. -
@petedk Before you go rushing into the clean install, check if your laptop is 'eligible' for the upgrade/installation of Windows 11. Only some 330s have 8th Gen Intel CPU. If yours has a 7th Gen, you'll need to effect a bypass of the installation check in order to install. Remember to delete ALL existing partitions on the SSD before cleanly installing Windows 11.
-
Had you already upgraded to Windows 11? It seems he clean installed Windows 11 Pro, instead of upgrading to Windows 11 Home.
-
@petedk I don't know why he changed it, rather than to simply clone your old drive. Though a clean install is usually best. He might have spent 100 baht to buy a Pro product key. Who knows? Then there are the other programs you state he has installed. Not the best idea to let someone loose on your laptop.
-
@petedk If you need it in the future, you can enable it at that time.

@Serenity_Now If it were just the Power Settings, the issue wouldn't present itself when the OP utilised the Windows Shutdown method. Power Settings affect the Power button, Sleep button and Lid closing and Screen. There is only the Fast Start up setting that affects how the device closes down when using the Shutdown method. No one knows what the Tech changed. Personally, I would restore BIOS to default and run a clean install/factory restore(if possible), after backing up any data.

@MalcolmB They are looking for you 😊

Dusit Grande Park... I don't understand why someone would go on holiday to a beach location and decide to stay in the jungle. The sea air and atmosphere makes all the difference.
-
Dusit Grande Park in the back streets? It cannot be Dusit Grand Condo, as Copacabana is opposite. Why do you always 'choose' such places?
-
I was going to suggest resetting BIOS to defaults, as I imagined that the Tech had enabled USB Boot in order to install the new OS. As an aside, which version and edition did he install?
-
Brand name and model number.....?

^^ Agree. If they have a Thai partner, this is a good option. They have an unlimited data option. 259 baht for 30 days of unlimited up to 15 Mbps. As and when or auto renewal for 12 months.

Charity Leader Accuses Prince Harry of Toxicity and Bullying
SMIAI replied to Social Media's topic in World News
@jippytum Have you had bad experiences with women in your life? You are being quite disrespectful about people of whom you have no knowledge at all. I guess you think you are funny. The life and soul... -

@illisdean Your posts are moving into the unhinged territory again. Why the ranting in every post? Please calm down and try to at least tackle the subject matter, instead of acting like a keyboard warrior. -

@illisdean There are the signs of mental illness again. Ranting, but no substance. I am aware of the DOHA accord. I thought that is what we were discussing in the first place. You seem to be blaming Biden for it, when it was Trump's agreement. What is it that you would like to highlight from the accord? I'm not getting your point. Can you at least try to discuss without the histrionics? -
@richard_smith237 Yes they work for Data Roaming and WiFi Calling. No, you cannot port your number to the 12 month SIM. If you want to keep your number, you'll need to port it to a new SIM and then add the package that you want. To add a 12 month pack, the cost is from 2200 baht. For that, with True or DTAC(2290 baht), you get 100 GB per month and some free calls.. With AIS(2200 baht) you get 50GB per month. No calls included. AIS has a 100GB option for 2750 baht. If you want non-stop/unlimited data, it costs more.

@illisdean There are the signs of mental illness I broached earlier, with another Mental Acuity Gone Away. The assumption that you are communicating with a Democrat supporter. I'm not involved with the American political system. I just see the foolish writings of particular people here. Their behaviour is appalling. In general I avoid any discussions here, due to the frankly, imbecilic behaviour demonstrated here on a regular basis. I'm simply discussing the facts as we know them. Whereas you seem to be locked into some childish playground argument. Let's see if you can hold a normal conversation. One without apparently deranged behaviour. You say that Biden's Generals advised him against the withdrawal. Are you suggesting that he should have cancelled the agreement that Trump made? -

@illisdean I'm not sure what you think is funny. It' appears to be a kind of psychosis, wherein the symptom is to try to blame the other side, even in the face of overwhelming evidence showing otherwise. Yes, that's right. The Trump administration. https://www.factcheck.org/2021/08/timeline-of-u-s-withdrawal-from-afghanistan/ For me it's shocking to see such infantile behaviour disguised as debating. The Trump administration agreement with the Taliban was that they keep a handle on the 'terrorist' groups there. One such group was ISIS-K, the group held responsible for the suicide bombing. -
@frank83628 Your reply to me demonstrates exactly what I asserted in the first place. Take a look for yourself: Again you are ranting at that invisible enemy. Show me even a single example of me(since you replied to me, referring to me as one of the "you guys") freaking out at everything Trump has said. Even ONE example will do. Can't you see that it is you freaking out? I see this style of posting from a select few here. This is obviously something that you've picked up from someone else, wherein it has become a bad habit. Instead of calm and reasoned analysis and discussion, it's the same old rant about other people's derangement. That is purely baiting and Trolling the thread. Worse, you accuse people of that who haven't picked a side. Please, don't take it in a negative manner. I'm only pointing out the obvious. It's you freaking out.
-
@frank83628 Is that what passes for normal behaviour these days? Ranting like a lunatic and at the same time claiming the invisible people whom you are ranting at, are lunatics? This is not a flame nor anything like that. I just wonder why the people who seem to cling to one side, all have the same debating tactic. In my observation, it's something that you've picked up from someone else and you are just running with it. The derangement syndrome device is already old and tired. Try coming out with something original. You aren't even trying to debate. To my eyes, most of these threads are a waste of time. There is no discussion at all, nor even an attempt to agree on some matters, whilst disagreeing on others. It's literally dismissing anything that you imagine is critical of your dear leader. What happened to critical thinking skills? I just see monkeys throwing 💩 Are you critical of anything, other than the imaginary people you assume to be your extreme opposites?

Thai Restaurant Industry Faces Crisis as Purchases Plummet by 40%
SMIAI replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
@safarimike11 Stop it, you are embarrassing yourself. So you would buy a 10 baht pack of sticky rice, pour the carton of UHT coconut milk over it and call that Khao Niew Ma Muang? I happily pay 100 baht to sit to eat it here: https://g.co/kgs/3gmTWvN
