  1. Is this some automatic answer? If you have an app that does that I am sure it must have an IQ setting, I's suggest to turn a bit. Unless you fear getting ostracised by the MAGA crowds..
  2. Agree, IMHO the minimum service of RTP would be to push back to border to the foothills on the Cambodian side, and that should include Preah Vihear. Proper modern fortification of the hills could then happen. Keep the border closed as long as needed.
  3. He tried, and fell flat on his ugly face. Now he is the Kremlin's laughing stock.
  4. So you reckon US is unable quality goods capable to compete on an even and fair market? And truly, I am still laughing a TACO's ridiculous assertion that now these ridiculous, primitive, totally outdated, gas guzzling US pickup trucks would stand a chance on the EU market. While US middle class will always dream of Mercedes, BMW and Porsche, simply because these are the best cars anyone can buy. And soon enough BYD will be the EV BMW.
  5. Talking of loss? You've lost what was a great country, not so long ago. And yes, it is a loss for many, beyond your borders.
  6. Glad you didn't go as far back as Lafayette...
  7. So US needs unfair tariffs to be able to compete with the EU? I see this as a success. US comes across as the schoolyard bully with no brains. That's how the MAGAs see themselves now.
  8. Exactly, we are at war and the government is weak, therefore we, the army, must take full control. And, what a coincidence, this is valid for both sides.
  9. Dunno.. how about the two armies actually fighting over their share in the [regional] gambling business?
  10. No, never, but I am from Narok county.
  11. Go to Wat Pho and ask. Should be fine, unless there are copies of that temple around Bangkok. Now, I had a massage there, I was my second authentic "Thai Massage", then I decided that I never have another, without full anaesthesia.
  12. Well, thanks Dr. Freud, but a bit of "victim mentality" can always be useful. I don't want to be the "Frog in hot water", I got myself a thermometer..
  13. What drives us to Nana Plaza? Recent news seems to indicate that many monks get free rides in the temples.
  14. Kasikorn clients of Thai nationality keep their 4000000 limit. So how can you say foreigners aren't singled out? Neither are Thais concerned by the drivers license change.
  15. I can't get over the fact that everyone who goes to India spend at least one day in the loo wondering which end to aim at the the toilet first... I think from here Perth or KL are good option. By now Singapore is probably above western prices.too.
  16. I have [had] the face scan, but they made it redundant... I brought up the topic as a feel there is a climate now where Thailand tries to make life difficult for foreigners in all aspects of everyday life. And we are clearly singled out with both the banking and driver licence changes. We could also debate about the income tax.
