  1. I wonder what the official spin will be for the cult? No doubt the "brain trust" at Fox and Newsmax and OAN are working on it right now. Trump fans here will soon be chiming in with whatever that cult spin will be, since thinking on their own is not part of the MAGA skill set. Neither is walking and chewing gum at the same time. There is no clearer evidence of Trump's hateful malignant Narcissism than his post and subsequent comments. EVERYTHING has to be all about "ME". Not only must a critic have passed because of his criticism of ME, but Trump used the deaths to once again boost his fantasy of everything superlative being associated with Trump. "Golden Age" my arse. "Surpassed all goals of greatness"....laughable. That's right up there with Trump is 6'3" and 215 lbs. Everything Trump has been doing is making it more likely Republicans get skewered in the mid terms. It's abundantly clear Trump still has enough awareness to know a Democratic tsunami guarantees more impeachment and lame duck-iness for Trump. That's why Trump has threatened to primary Indiana State officials who voted down the gerrymandering. Well, one of the first non-officials to condemn Trump's vile and hateful post was an Evangelical of note, Russell Moore, who is publisher of something called Christians Today as well as an evangelical preacher. That is going to further chip away at the cult and aid the Dems. It might even help Dems to retake the Senate, which means conviction. Trump's post is proof of who is truly deranged, and that is Trump himself. His post is as close to shooting himself in the foot as possible, plus his foot is in his mouth and his head is up his own fatuga.
  2. Hateful? You mean like he constantly called people "deranged" and "losers" and "low IQ" and "no talent" and "bad ratings" or said "Quiet, Piggy"?
  3. Just last week the man who knows more about tariffs than anyone told us his tariffs are already bringing in "trillions of dollars.....so much that you won't have to pay income taxes anymore". Yes, everybody said it couldn't be done.....and "everybody" was right. In reality, a state of being Trump has long since abandoned, the tariffs have brought in $259 billion to a government that gets $2.5 trillion in taxes and is running a deficit of $1.83 trillion this year. And of course the tariffs have been paid for by the end user, which is to say the final consumer, though the importer acts as a middleman. But it's not a lie if some of your most deluded cult members believe it.
  4. The good news, GG....if I may play a little Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce...is universities are likely going the way of the Dodo bird. Education will be a choice or a pastime, once AI takes over. What could anyone possible learn that AI won't be able to do better? Engineering? Biochemistry? Particle Physics? Humans no longer need Richard Feynmans or Paul Duracs or James Clerk Maxwells. The hard work's been done. Of course we probably never needed PhDs in Flaubert, except maybe to tutor other PhD wannabes in Flaubert. Universities will be free and online. Learning merely for the sake of learning. All those lovely old buildings on Ivy League campuses or at Oxbridge can be turned into low cost housing or Starbucks or maybe brothels with AI androids to take care of the increasing number of Incels. It's your last chance to send the kiddies off to Harvard to run up $400,000 in debt to walk out into a barista job at Starbucks....at least until a robot replaces even the baristas. And think of all the paper we'll save by not needing to print resumes. Think of all the lies and hyperbole not spouted on said same resumes. People will become slightly more moral because they'll be no need to lie. Nobody will care where you got your diploma, because you won't have one. Nobody will care what you do, because you won't do anything. You'll never have a final interview with the CEO, because even the CEO is going to be replaced by AI. You and Jamie Dimon can binge watch Netflix together, as equals, munching on Doritos and scoffing down root beer. We'll all have more time to create meaningless topics on forums like AN, where we can argue and verbally attack each other, all while AI does the grunt work and creates and manages a world without challenge, where we're all equally superfluous and unnecessary.
  5. This wouldn't have happened if Trump was President. Oh wait!!!!!!!!!
  6. Upon Trump's passing, MAGA is going to stand for this: Messiah Ain't Gonna Arise. Amen.
  7. Trump and Epstein were buddies for two decades. Even IF Trump never violated underage girls, there is no way he could not have known that was Epstein's thing....yet he remained best friends. Arguing otherwise, like "How could he have known?" is saying Trump is an idiot (which he is, but not likely in the case of Epstein). As for their "breakup", the reality as told by Michael Cohen tells a different story than Trump's "When I found out, I kicked him out of the club". According to Cohen, Epstein found a fancy house for sale in Palm Beach. He asked his buddy Trump to tell him if it looked like a good deal. Trump subsequently front ran Epstein and bought the home (and mortgaged it by saying it would be a personal residence.). Trump then sold it to a Russian oligarch (a "classy" guy who painted the Greek statues so they would have red nipples and black in the nether regions). Trump's front running led to arguments between Trump and Epstein, and THEN Trump kicked Epstein out of his club. As for the Epstein files revealing others who buddies up to Epstein, so be it, no matter who, no matter what Party.
  8. Well, he does appeal to white trash losers, so I understand your affection for him. Sorry, that's just my straight talking style. Hope you're refreshed.
  9. Given Trump's obvious and increasingly rapid physical and mental decline (watch his "rally" speech in PA....oh my!), I doubt he'll even be above ground when the midterms come, but in the event the gods have a humorous coda in store for him, it will be interesting to see how many additional impeachments the (likely to be) Dem-controlled House will be able to pull off. And if the Dems retake a Senate majority, or enough Repub Senators like Murkowski, McConnell and Collins know MAGA is dead meat, Trump might even be convicted.
  10. As I mentioned elsewhere, no doubt Trump has called Hegseth and ordered him to put together an attack plan for invading Indiana. Keep checking Signal for early word of the order of battle. Or maybe Trump will order the seizure of basketballs and race cars, which he can store on his new oil tanker.
  11. As has been noted, a grand jury is kind of a softball pitch. The govt gets to present its case, and there is no defense or lawyer offering a counterargument or refutation of what the govt presents. On top of that, an indictment doesn't even require a unanimous jury opinion. Rarely is an indictment NOT returned, and I don't think any AI, searching all court records going back to Hammurabi, could find 2 failures for the same case. Unprecedented level of failure! Halligan and Trump are in a class of their own, or as Trump himself might say.......... "Many people are saying nobody can fail as often and embarrassingly as us. Nobody knows more about Grand Jury failure than me." I bet lawyers are lining up to represent James in a malicious prosecution lawsuit. Trump made E Jean Carroll rich by running off his mouth, and he'll likely make James uber rich with his childish crybaby vindictiveness and incompetent political appointments.
  12. Five to one Trump has called Hegseth and asked him to put together an attack plan for invading Indiana. Of course the Hoosiers will be able to prepare when Hegseth boasts about it on Signal.
  13. Worse is Melania's scam meme crypto. Of course she has the $30 million Bezos and Amazon paid her for her "life story". I guess that epic is still in the casting stage, so we're unlikely to see it on the silver screen anytime soon. (Maybe they'll cast Rosie O'Donnell in the role of the heroine Melania?) Oh, and despite Trump pardoning the convicted money launderer CZ of Binance (he even laundered money for Hamas), the fortunes of World Liberty Financial (a Trump Org entity created after Trump took office for the 2nd time) have yet to benefit from their relationship with Binance. I certainly hope Jared is doing better managing the $2 billion MbS gave him, because Trump's own CIA showed him what happens to folks who upset MbS. It certainly didn't work out well for Jamal Khashoggi.
  14. Well, you missed the caveat. One needs to have money in order to buy things that are now tariffed and whose price has reflected the tariff. So many MAGAs are nearly destitute and living off SSDI, SNAP, etc., that they can only dream of purchasing goods that have risen in price at the retail level because of tariffs.
  15. So is Trump trying to explain some sort of MAGA lottery? If he's accurate and some prices have fallen 700%, everybody should get their physician to write as many prescriptions as possible. Let's say you've got prescriptions that cost $1000/month. If the cost dropped 700%, that would mean trump is giving you $6000 per month. Such a deal. Trump always claimed to be the greatest dealmaker. Maybe folks will finally believe his hyperbole.
  16. "we"? Now there's some delusions of grandeur! Also, willful ignorance, which is a hallmark of MAGAs. The (lack of) subtlety might escape fascist MAGAs, but she was accused of a crime for doing something her mortgage application and loan specifically allows. Doing something that is specifically allowed has another term: legal. Now Trump, OTOH, stole highly classified documents. He subsequently lied when told to return them all, when he kept many, requiring the search of his wedding planning facility. That's just one of his crimes, though his lackey judge was able to postpone the trial until the election. Now while the stolen document issue is absolutely, clearly, 100%, slam dunk criminal, a jury would have had to decide his charges re Georgia ("Just find me...11,780 votes") and his charges for his direct participation in the horrific and embarrassing events of 6 January 2021. Of course Trump is also a convicted felon (34 counts), a convicted charity fraudster, and a civilly convicted sexual assaulter. If poster jerrymahoney and Gemini AI are correct, James may well be in for a financial bonanza if she sues malicious prosecution. She might get all the ill-gotten gains Trump finally made from his crypto meme scam. Heck, she could even get that B747 Qatar gifted him. WINNING !!!!!! Now while NY AG James quite clearly committed no crime, Trump could be accused of the exact crime for which he ordered his supposedly independent DoJ to indict James, as Trump got favorable rates on a mortgage for a property.
  17. LOL! You "fair share" guys are so funny. What it means in reality is: please NATO allies, teach your own defense industries how to run massive cost overruns like we do in the USA. And make sure you also build useless weapons that were for the last war, not modern wars. Oh, and let former military officials become advisers and salesmen for the defense industry, because they can convince guys still in the mil to buy needless and inferior products, so "I" can get a big bonus. And let me not forget: buy paint. Lots of paint, as you know the old saying: If it moves, salute it; if it's not moving, paint it.
  18. Seize an oil tanker, pardon a convicted drug runner..... Sounds like the brainfart of the concept of a plan.
  19. Gee, you've got that armchair warrior thing going on. Lots of Combat Ribbons, have you? Or bone spurs, like your messiah? If some fascist righty MAGA terrorist can beat and bear spray Capitol Police, defecate on the floor, and search for the Vice President to hang him.....and then get pardoned by the traitor who sent them to the Capitol, I'm not sure what any of those "liberals" could do which is worse. 250 years of better people than you working to push the great American Experiment to whatever heights it might reach was put in jeopardy by those fascist moronic MAGAs. Those of us who served know who is the bad guy, and know his cult are the bad guys,
  20. So how many government employees is it going to take to go through every entrant's social media, web browsing, and family history? The US is going to have to un-DOGE. Perhaps the goal is simply to eliminate tourism to the US. Who wants to either fill out a 20 page questionnaire before departure, or else stand in mile-long lines at Immigration or 20-mile long backups at the Canadian and Mexican borders? "I see in 2016 your second cousin posted a laughing emoji on a post about Trump's hair. DENIED!........next in line?" Even TAT, which does seem in a constant search for ways to help/hurt tourism, has way more brains than to do something like that.....tourists' visas would expire before getting through the lines at Suvanabhumi, or at least the TDAC.
  21. What kind of MAGA-docian illogic is that? Perhaps we'll seize all the oil of Saudi Arabia next, as the corrupt terrorist-funding Royal Family lets precious little of the wealth filter down to the average Bedouin.
  22. I think that ^ post is an AI bot playing the role of a curmudgeon. Classic bitter old man. The frowns and wrinkles are probably deeper than storm drains.
  23. Trump is human garbage. Filth. A total rancid POS. And those are his good points. How could anyone possible know that just because a leader of a cult of deranged lunatics criticizes someone, the cult members might send death threats? /sarc This is Trump's MO for intimidation. He knows the violent streak inherent in his goobers. ---He went after Speaker Pelosi, and a MAGA went and beat her husband with a hammer ---He tore into Judge Mechan, and both he and his daughter got death threats from MAGAs ---He tore into Mike Pence for not breaking the law, and his terrorist goobers stormed the Capitol and searched for Pence to hang him. ---He published the address of Obama's DC residence, and a MAGA went to the house with an AR-15 and some bombs. ---He called the 6 Dems who reminded military personnel of the rules in the US' Law of War Manual, and death threats went to Sen Kelly, Sen Slotkin and Rep Crow. ---He is constantly going after late night TV Hosts, and Jimmy Kimmel got death threats ---He publicly criticized his former lawyer Michael Cohen, and MAGAs sent death threats to Cohen and his family ---He has called Garland-appointed SC Jack Smith "deranged" and has constantly attacked Smith online, and Smith got death threats ---Trump and Giuliani noted the names of Georgia vote counters, and a mother and daughter received death threats ---In Trump's NY trial, the court made sure the names of the jurors remained anonymous, and told Trump to not state their names, because the court feared the jurors would face death threats Now he is going after a former ally, posting on social media about Marjorie "Traitor" Green, and the death threats from MAGAs pour in. He is scum.
  24. And since we're on pyramid stuff, there are always people who swear aliens must have built the pyramids, because how could ancient Egyptians have gotten those rocks way up there. Well, first, they had slaves. Second, they had sand. With the sand they could make long ramps, and then the slaves could pull large stones up a long incline (The Taj Mahal, when being built, had 1 km long ramps used to drag stones. I own a medieval castle in Europe. I always wondered how they built it, as there are large stones at elevations, as well as 1 foot square, 60 foot long oak beams on the ceilings of many rooms. It turns out they used giant hamster treadmills, albeit using human power. Workers would get inside a giant wheel connected to cables and pulleys, and walk, which allowed heavy objects to be lifted quite high. They also used counterweights and catapult-like structures, almost like siege engines. Around the time of Christ, the Romans used similar technology to build things like the Pont du Gard aqueduct, where there are 20 ton rock slabs 100+ feet above the river, and cut so precisely that no mortar needed to be used. Even more interesting is that with no pumps, there had to be an extremely gentle 31 mile slope from the water source to the city where the water was used for Roman baths. The 900 foot span across the Gard is about 1.5 cm difference east to west, so gravity was just enough to allow the water to flow. The ancients were not dumb. They were, however, quite resourceful.
  25. BTW, the original nonsense about "pyramid power" (e.g., put a piece of meat under a pyramid and it won't ever rot) was an April Fool's joke made up by former Scientific American writer Martin Gardner. Because some people WANT to be stupid, it created an short-lived industry.
