Yep I had the same problem, I think it was humidity that forked it, you'll need someone in the UK to send it by registered post, you'll need to borrow one from a Brit, any bank will do, and change your address to theirs, post cost was about 10quid. ( I also had to do the same for new ATM card ).good luck. From memory my daughter went to the bank and they just gave her a new one, saying it was for her dad. Or you can find someone going back for a short time and they can bring one for you, I now have two. If mail worked on this site I could send you one, but all you get is "Mail unavailable" reporting it to Support is just ignored.

Do you mean Bangkok Banks head office or other ? I once had money transferred here from OZ and it got sent to the Bank Of Thailand first, and I got a lower Ex-rate, the stupid OZ bank gave me this advice to prevent it happening again, even though it was sent in AUD, message to bank "Do not Exchange Funds"

For me it started when I was thirteen, had my 14 birthday in Switzerland, school trip 1pound a week for about 6 months, then at 15 to Yugoslavia, I have seen most of the UK, some as a tourist some driving trucks, fast forward, when around 27 Spain down to Morocco for Christmas, then the north of India, Nepal, twice and on to Thailand where I travelled from the north and overland down to Singapore, flew to OZ drove from Sidney to Cape Tribulation, across to 3ways and down to Melbourne back to Sidney to New Zealand both Islands, to Hong Kong across to China 1988 up to Beijing, trans Siberian to Moscow, then down to West Berlin, and back to Blighty (Bristol) a 2 year trip in all, then moved to OZ worked on a remote cattle station (mechanic) got my citizenship after 2 years, worked near Perth for about 3 years, had a work related accident, and was lucky I didn't die, took a payout, paid off my house, came back to Thailand aged 55 in a wheel chair (broken pelvis) and have basically lived here ever since, I ain't going nowhere at 74yrs old.....

So Indian parents born here, with Thai citizenship their kids should be sent back...

Why not just declare the whole of Thailand as a UNESCO sight, and have done with it.....
