  1. This is what is known as the 'I'm rubber, you're glue' defense. Worked well in 3rd grade. Not as effective with adults. 864511524 (By the way, that's tomorrow.)
  2. Can someone explain to me why, when a mention of Trump cheating and getting caught, or Trump stealing from Children's Cancer Charities, there are people who find it funny and post laughing emojis? What is funny about a man who steals from sick children?
  3. 864511524 LOL! I guess it's obvious to all that you never served your country or you would have recognized the meaning; 86 (get rid of) 45 on Nov.11, 2024 However, I do appreciate the inside view into your thinking. 🙂
  4. Unfortunately, there will be a lot of people who don't realize this is joke. Wait a minute... You were being serious, weren't you! Well, reading it was two minutes wasted I'll never get back.
  5. It's not a matter of Politics. It's a matter of morals. If you support a racist... If you support a convicted felon... If you support a misogynist... If you support a liar... a man who publically mocks the handicapped on TV for all to see... ... they you are no better than he.
  6. Quite understandable! Most restaurant critics have their foods delivered so that they can critique a meal that had been cooked 30 minutes before it even arrives at their table... after being bounced around on the back of a motorbike stuck in traffic. Sorry you didn't enjoy your meal. We usually do. But then, we eat it while it's still fresh and warm in the restaurant.
  7. How kind and polite of you to say so... I don't drink so perhaps I can recognize the quality of food, and I enjoy my meals at Gekko Garden, along with dozens of others who eat there regularly. I don't find it necessary to eat at fancy, expensive restaurants every day. A good family-style place is fine for me.
  8. The facts are that those who support Trump are NOT moral, decent Americans. If they were, they would never support a convicted felon (they make excuses to say he was convicted unfairly,) a misogynist who cheated on his first wife while she was pregnant, cheated on wife number two while she was pregnant, stole from a Children's Cancer fund and now is forbidden to open any business in the entire state of New York, was taken to court for non-payment and breach of contract by hundreds of different contractors, lied about hush money to a porn star, .... hell... the list is just too long. If you support Trump, you have no morals. It's that simple.
  9. Been here for the past 24 years, and never felt the need to leave, either for Burning season or floods. We are humans. We have learned how to manage our environment to keep us safe and comfortable. We no longer need to live in caves shivering in our animal skins. Between a mask for outdoors and an air purifier for indoors, Burning Season is just a name people cry every year, but people need something to bitch about, and this is as good as any. I don't think too many people have been forced to live here, so there must be some attraction.
  10. I haven't been inside a movie theater since August of 1992, when my students took me to see the opening of Terminator 2 in Japan. While a few movies may look better on a large screen, not having to deal with crowds, noise, inability to stop the movie when I want to refill my cup, etc. keep me watching at home.
  11. It's funny because he is such a crook! Verdict again and again by a jury of his peers in US Courts of Law! He's been sued for fraud, non-payment of bills, sexual misconduct, stealing from children's Cancer charities, etc. literally thousands of times, and lost almost every one of them. It's no longer about politics. It's about morals.
  12. The Gekko Garden Restaurant on Sri Donchai Rd. offers a large Farang menu as well as Thai food. It offers good food and good value for the money. They will be doing a Thanksgiving buffet, as well as their regular Sunday night buffet.
  13. Like Electric Vehicles, 100's of different AI platforms rushed to the marketplace before all the bugs were ironed out. They made a weak attempt to justify by giving the warning; "Answers may not be correct," but nobody is paying any attention to that, anyway... until they use the incorrect info and it costs them.
  14. In this day and age of Information Gathering, to believe that any data you enter online isn't being retained, especially by self-learning AI bots designed for that purpose is absurd. That said, the data it collects on most of us may be trivial, but it adds up quickly for daily AI users.
  15. I have no need to convince you of anything. But I can imagine you doing those things.
  16. I'd lose. I'm not a Scientist. Apparently, neither are you! 🙂
  17. Just a few years ago I would have thought that this post was made in jest. These days, it's all too common to meet people who behave this way. It's Science, not Santa Clause—facts vs Opinion. Before you laugh at children who believe in Santa Claus, just remember there are adults who believe in Donald Trump. If you argue your opinion against Science facts, it's not a debate. You are just wrong.
  18. There is an excellent motorbike repair shop down Rajachphrunk Alley behind Nakornping Condominium and Hop Inn Hotel. He's well-equiped and knowledgeable. Google Map 18.799052132287716, 98.97476074165948
  19. Just two questiona; 1. World affairs aside, how can anyone vote for a man who stole money from a Children's Cancer Charity? 2. How can you wish to be led by a man who publically mocks Disabled people? It's not a matter of politics. It's a matter of morals. You either have them, or you don't.
  20. I just completed this quiz. My Score 40/100 My Time 100 seconds
  21. Reading about a child being hit by a bus in downtown Cincinnati will not; Make me feel good Help bring him back to life Fix a problem So why do I need to read about it every day? (Substitute racial violence in Atlanta, school shootings in Buffalo, mob violence in Madrid, ranting and raving by political candidates, etc. for the bus accident.) I can't have any impact on these issues, so why do I need to suffer by giving them my attention? No... hearing about these things day after day does NOT make people feel more mentally comfortable. So, I remain 'aware' of the issues but don't get mentally 'involved' with them. I won't carry them around all day.
  22. Question: Why do Republicans continue to spread this lie? It's been 'fact-checked' by dozens of different groups and proven to be a lie. Yet they keep pushing it. I have a pretty good imagination, but even I find it difficult to understand why people are still saying this despite the fact that virtually everyone in Springfield says it was a lie. Not a mistake. A lie. By the way, those Haitian immigrants in Springfield? They are legal aliens with documentation. Not illegals, and not eating people's cats. That's just more Repub lies.
