Still enraged? Have to push it to extremes?

What was not incorrect was my observation about your mindless fear mongering about ISIS and the Taliban. You have what basis for such claims?

    Get a grip.

Nice response. Exactly how one reacts when they know they are totally defeated. But you still have a chance to salvage some pride if you can address the issue of you stating the Taliban are Shia. I have asked you on numerous occasions and you refuse.

Let us not forget you are the one that initiated a kind of "enraged' response with  a reply that was/is nothing but utter nonsense. And inflammatory IMO. With comments to such as I should  'know thy enemy" and don't make '" preposterous predictions ". Hahaha. Are you joking ? Know thy enemy ?? You don't even know who the enemy are dude. Go back to the newspaper stand.

Well, missing the word 'not' in a sentence clearly enrages you.

It is almost certain that you will not be subject to any Taliban aggression if you live outside Afghanistan.

I will clarify further and add Pakistan to the sentence since the Taliban crosses the border.

Other people noticed the mistake. Clearly challenging your words is somehow an affront. If you believe I do not know anything, why not be specific as another poster was? I guess any excuse for a rant, or double rant is a good one.

Talk to me about how you also "typo'd"  the Taliban being Shia. As I said in a previous post. Your entire post was and still is nonsense.

On the contrary the military might be indirectly sustaining the insurgency through planned military inepitude and deliberate avoidance of any meaningful peace talks to justify substantial government funds to maintain its armed forces and paramilitary in the South.

Its possible. But with the ex Commander of the Thai Military as the self appointed Prime Minister. I guess he and the Junta can write their own checks when it comes to military spending.

Rather a lengthy rant over a simple typo.

Actually more to it than that. The guy hasn't got a clue what his talking about. It gets a little boring when jokers have 'shots at others' on subjects they clearly know little about. A simple example is in the post above this one. If he thinks that then he has never step foot in Afghanistan. So would be best for him to button up.

    Yours sincerely.

  5. As I stated in another thread. As these ISIS grubs are getting defeated and hunted out of Iraq and Syria, they will be looking to start up new fronts in all sorts of vulnerable places around the globe. In this part of the world, Thailand, The Philippines and Indonesia are prime real estate for radical Islamic militants. More troubling times for the south me thinks. When will the army finally realise they need to put this southern insurgency issue to bed ? It seems almost like the Thai army doesn't have the stomach for it.

It might be useful to 'know thy enemy' before making preposterous predictions. It is almost certain that you will be subject to any Taliban aggression if you live outside Afghanistan. There is no need to be scared of the Taliban.

Are you serious ? What an utterly weird few sentences you have managed to put together here. No matter how many times I read this dribble I still cannot understand your point. Had a few beers under your belt have you ?

So am I [ in your infinite wisdom] certainly going to be subject to Taliban aggression if I live outside Afghan am I ? Can you please explain that to me further so I know which shoulder I need to be looking over. And how did you draw this ridiculous conclusion?  And secondly, why is there no need for me to be scared of the Taliban ? If I am certain to be subject to Taliban aggression considering I am not inside Afghan right know. And never will be again I hope.

Talk about contradicting one's self. Just sounds like the usual garbage that people who like shooting their mouths off about conflicts they know obviously know very little if anything about. Except for what they read in the newspapers.

I think you need to 'know thy self' before you go making any more " preposterous predictions". It cracks me up how people, like yourself, in this forum believe they know everything about every other member.

Now if you are trying to be funny then I will 'take the bait' Either you have very little knowledge of military sea history or maybe, you are just ignorant of the facts. I will not tell you to do you research, as if you don't know, you should then know your statement is absolutely hilarious. Even now the UK is hardly the worse navy in the world, just a little under funded. Your comment is just bitter for what ever reason.

You need to change your Username. Laughing Gravy ?  You are confused.

I think you need to be reminded that the US and the UK have always been allies. The UK has always been there for you besides the idiotic stance in Vietnam. Making your accusations is showing your ignorance. I am all for standing up and fighting for right. Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq is all the USA doing. The rest just followed. You mention Trump. Good. He has also said he is not going to get involved in affairs that don't belong to America. I think you should go back to school.

I think you need to lay off the drugs and alcohol before you post. So that you can firstly READ what has been posted and secondly reply appropriately in the correct context of what you are replying to.

  9. I guess a lot of US allies have let there defense forces run down over the decades post WW2. Making do on shoe string budgets. Always knowing that Uncle Sam would be their "Knight in Shining Armour". Come and save the day for them. Or at least provide them with huge amounts of weapons and logistics to get the job done.

Now with Trump coming into office. And his well documented stance on "Allies" paying their fair share,  if not look after yourselves. A lot of countries, including the British, are starting to realise that they may well get caught short someday and need to start investing and upgrading their own defense forces.

The irony in it all is that most of America's closest allies would never find themselves at war, if it wasn't for them having a treaty with the United States.

  10. They'd be idiots to elect her again. The women that single-handedly destroyed Europe forever. She should be behind bars with her garbage apologist policies. The 2015/16 New Years Eve mass rapes and sexual assaults of over 1200 women, is just one example of how she has changed her country and Europe for the worse, with her foolish stance on immigration. There has to be a Trump styled boil over surely. Let's hope Frauke Petry gets then node.

  11. Nothing wrong with "Populist nationalism " That is democracy. Just depends on what countries are compatible with democracy and which ones are not. Nothing to do with the Vatican. Typical of religion to be preaching its version of how the rest of the world should act.

What about the "epidemic" of cover ups by the church protecting their own against paedophile charges ?

"Take the log out of your own eye before you take the splinter out of others".

  12. Yes. It would seem his son was the jumper as stated in the article " Supakorn said the Korean told police he had come to collect the body of his son Moon Song Jun,  who fell to his death from the 19th floor of a Yannawa condominium on November 16 "

And yes. Good work bailing somebody that has previously fled the country for the same crime. Only in Thailand does this happen. People that have been sentenced to death get bail waiting for appeal here. It is just ludicrous.

Think you misread my reply, the pertinent part was in bold where you said its suspicious that the kid had no pants on and his shirt pulled up around his neck.... I was merely saying the lizard could have done that.

Unless you include the post you are replying to then its easy to read your post as your reply to the article.

Definitely did and now I am confusing myself. Sorry. This new system they have got going here is confusing.

I was on about  the post by PattayaBoy  stating and I quote  " Autopsy showed boy was drawned. Murdered! "

Could there be some leads in the first line of the article?

Khwan, 21, said that she saw a water monitor biting what looked like a doll in a bamboo thicket by a pond by the side of the road.

Nope. No autopsy done yet according to the OP. And the mere fact that they state that one will be conducted tells me not to draw such a conclusion. Especially in this part of the world .That would be a little foolish.

Furthermore my post was in response to a member declaring that  '"autopsy done concluded death by drowning, Murder ! " Or words to that effect. When the OP states that the body WILL be sent for an autopsy. So I asked. And ask again. Where did this information come from ??
