  1. I don't believe the police in most countries enforce emissions. That would be done at roadside checks by the appropriate government agency or at vehicle testing prior to taxation , as in Thailand.
  2. Sorry, no help. I used to get a few from Ausfence in BKK. But they seemed to have disappeared. EDIT: Bingo https://shopee.co.th/เสารั้ว-T-Post-สำหรับ-ติดตั้ง-รั้วตาข่าย-i.338300509.4095704716
  3. My best friend did the same and fabricated the raven house at the Tower.
  4. Not forgetting 200 series stainless which is used for cooking pots and furniture. It is almost impossible to tell all of them apart except in a lab or that the 200 series can be slightly magnetic. One site where I spent 7 years would not allow 304 through the gate for that reason. Most gates etc here are made of lower quality grades so care is needed if you live near the sea. No not too technical.
  5. I'm off to the pub for our regular Friday expat lunch, A couple of the lads are away so there will only be the same 8 guys there. It is Aussie pub food but...I enjoy the 8k scooter ride. There is a nice public swimming pool so don't need my own, but it is a bit chilly so I won't be there until the weather warms up a bit. Mountains are visible and the sun is shining.
  6. Ya think🤔 Oh OK you did say average.
  7. Here's oneon Rama IV that escaped the ravages on condos. McKitchen https://maps.app.goo.gl/VLhvdAMo2Fj2VRc16 There is a picture of sheet steel and a brake.
  8. I have found that some skills, processes and trades are universal. You don't need to speak the local language fluently you simply speak the language of that skill to someone competent in that, skill, process, or trade. Of course, you need to be competent yourself touse that universal language. OP you could try this place. https://maps.app.goo.gl/fWfzNzLMG92bEukU6 The kitchen equipment fab shops on Rama IV all seem to be gone.
  9. I think they are called carbon credits. they have to make money somehow🤔
  10. From appearance, it would appear to be "the will of God"
  11. The row of shophouses where I lived had simple/common Mitsubishi pumps. That is all you need. You will need a switch in the tank to control it, as standard it is controlled by pressure. If you have an existing pump to pump from the tank to the house then 155 watt is enough. Don't want to spend 5,000 on Mitsubishi there is a WIZZ one on Lazada for 2,000
  12. Because if my friends don't complain maybe it is not as bad as social media would lead us to believe.
  13. Just curious. Is it a public or private street, Some small ones are are private, I used to live on one. If it is private then no one really has the authority to solve anything.
  14. Me. Seeing as no one else seems to be bothered. 🤔 I did google his name but didn't come up with any academic references, such as published papers.
  15. Who is this Mr. Sonthi Kotchawat. Independent of what or whom. I fancy being an independent expert. Is he self-proclaimed?
  16. Says a man with an avatar smoking a cigarette. Really!
  17. Up North it gets a bit hazy which will spoil the vistas if , as a tourist, you are from, say, Switzerland. Otherwise, we still have sunshine and palm trees. I doubt any tourists from Beijing or New Dehli will be concerned about air quality. Nor will anyone coming here for a 3 or 4-week vacation.
  18. I lived in Bangkok for over 14 years and have lots of mates and acquaintances who exercise regularly outside. Not one of them has ever mentioned to me their concern over air quality in Bangkok.
  19. Some stupid idiots decided they didn't need to comply with the laws of the land Got caught and now some NGC thinks they should not be treated according to the law simply because the countries they have citizenships for are at war. Surely if the last thing they wanted was to go home they should have thought about that before and kept their heads down and not worked illegally in a public space.
  20. Best I could do for a genuine-looking 30410-KPW-901 is 635 baht. But a mobile mechanic wouldn't have the luxury of waiting for one to be delivered from Shopee. So would have to buy one from a local parts store or Honda.
