If the defendants are ordered to appear before the court and fail to do so surely the minimum they should be charged with is contempt of court not walk away without fear of further charges. -

No Tak Bai massacre was in 2004, Taksin was Prime Minister at the time, expressing regret for the deaths but insisting there had been no wrongdoing by military personnel. -

I planned my retirement in Thailand in 2003 and was fully aware of the frozen pensions issue. It's unfair but to move to a foreign country without understanding the financial implications is not a wise thing to do. -
Busses should not burn that quickly trapping so many inside. If this bus is one of those fitted with a cheap gas conversion somebody has blood on their hands.

A few years ago wifey and I were at a big party for a friend's son Monk Ordination. There was a well known local comedian entertaining the guests and he spotted me, the only farang in the audience, and I started to get a few jokes aimed my way. 'We have a sex tourist here tonight, where's the best prostitutes?' got a big laugh. 'Your house' I replied and got a big laugh in response. Thais know exactly what their country is famous for. -
