edwinchester replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It's being going on for decades how else do you get Generals with a net worth of hundreds of millions of bht? Another favourite is giving conscripts the option of staying at home but then all of their salary is then passed on up the food chain. It's no wonder the Armed Services are so loathe to give up such a lucrative money spinner that's conscription. -

Monk in scandalous video leaves Kalasin locals in disbelief - video
edwinchester replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
".....expressing the need to await the monk’s explanation regarding the video" I was collecting alms from the home of a young man when he asked if we could discuss the latest reforms of the monastic order. I suggested we go somewhere a little more private. It was there that I suddenly slipped on a freshly mopped floor just as a sudden gust of wind blew off the man's loose shorts. It was then that he unfortunately fell on top of me and I regret to say his penis unfortunately entered my body. As far as I'm concerned that is the end of the matter.- 21 replies

Thai mother in law has petty serious mental health issues. Depression and schizophrenia amongst them. All the care she seems to receive is a trip into hospital every few months to get another bag of prescription drugs.
