  1. may not actually be possible, but ive found that after having read a fair few pages, some posters are in urgent need of some assistance when trying to get their point across to some, shall we say thick skinned other members

Are you telling me there could be an emoticon to be used in place of pointing out the level of ridiculousness in statements like "a BMW is not more expensive here in LOS compared to UK, because I employ a bilingu...triling...multilingual gardener"...?

    Mindboggling.

He really got you didn't he?

When was that anyway? 4/5 months ago and you can't make a post without that gardener popping up.

    I think he wins!

Side note: since the forum upgrade, it's like an Easter egg hunt to find the emoticons to add to a post! so no "happy face" to add...

  2. That said, if the Tigglethingie place turns out to be a rival for the better Mexican places in Bangkok and CM, I'll break my vow against heterosexuality with the first homely 50+ freelancer I encounter on Beach Road. I'm not worried.

Oh Oh. There are a`lot of retired guys with time on their hands.... I'm thinking the cook could do a decent Mexican feed with proper instruction and the right ingredients. :whistling:

But a homely 50+? :o Bad choice. You are really not going to enjoy it. :bah:

  3. So any pointers to a good plate shop either in Pattaya or Bangkok?

I had one done at at lockshop on Thepprasit several years ago. That was the front plate on a car and where I came from, we were only required to display a rear plate. So it didn't feel that illegal to me. :whistling:

Saved myself all the time and trouble of a legitimate replacement. But I won't be bitching if I get fined 400Baht. :)

  4. You would think the instinct for self-preservation would have warned him off appearing on stage.

However, I wonder, if the government had fallen and been replaced by a Red Shirt based coalition, what some of our members who were overtly critical of the protesters would be doing right now.

The blood lust shown by many here, on a public forum no less, which has a world-wide stage, was reprehensible.
