Do you really think Putin had no justification whatsoever? So yes, Putin had some justification and, but for some Neocon nutcases, the conflict could have ended several years ago with Ukraine retaining much of its territory and its political structure.  That day has passed,, and Ukraine is now finding out the hard way.
