  1. If it's a basic ride, it might be a good idea to sell it on, as when you return it will be near 12 years old....... But, if it is looked at as family, pump up the tyres to around 40 psi, cut up some cardboard boxes to shield the tyres, other than that I would not worry as it will be started now and again. A battery milliamp trickle charger maybe a good idea, the type you leave connected.
  2. Sounds like the cop was having a bad day, just forget the pipe, but drive on the correct side in future, you will live longer too...????
  3. It seems your A/C has some auto features even if the system is turned off, which means you have sensors to do this. If a sensor is faulty, then it could turn the system on when it is turned off, or the auto thingy is doing its job. Have a read here, start at page 90... http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/Catalog/owner_information/P375_ICA_Australia_Print1_April2014_EB3B-19G219-ZAA.pdf
  4. That reads like it's for the mentally challenged driver, and a lot that could go wrong .......????..............????
  5. Well, oddly enough, it has been known for those who live near the sea could have a salt corrosion problem. The sand in these areas that inevitably gets on the roads has salt in it, that sand mixed with a little rain can end up in nooks and crannies under the ride. ????
  6. The 2 and 4 wheel evolution of course will mainly end up electric. In a bit over 100 years we have gone from steam/coal, to fluid/petrol/diesel combustion engines to electric. That's the/our future. I am really glad I grew up through the piston engine era, and no, not the steam. ????
