Indeed, the word "poverty" is banded about here well out of context. Many of us old chaps KNOW about mum watching the pennies was like. You don't have to look far for poverty in the land most of us now reside, Thailand. In the UK, an iPhone 6 is poverty......???? Just thought, in 1960 my school dinner was 5 pence, that's the old money.... ???? -

As I understand it, folk renewing from a foreign country are dealt with by a specific office, so perhaps there is no summer rush for them. Waiting times for these folk is longer than UK residence renewals.

Yes, even the UK passport website is still quoting 10 weeks, it seems the waiting times is getting longer, not shorter...????

Just had an email from Trendy that my passport is there for collection. So, email from Trendy on 29th June telling me my paperwork had been sent off to the UK, email today that it is ready for collection on 4th October, about 14 weeks, 15 weeks overall. Agent just emailed me that they are picking it up tomorrow, then they will send it to me by EMS post......???? Just hope the post is no problem....????

Perhaps you have a "thing" about well off people, you know, the ones who create jobs that actually got them well off. Handing over 40/45/50 or more % of money coming in, is really a bummer for anyone, I would have thought. Well, it would be for me....
