  1. Authorized Chevrolet service is still available in Thailand. https://www.chevrolet.co.th/shopping-tools/locate-dealer
  2. Thanks for this thread, guys. It has allowed me to add quite a few names to my ignore list. So much hatred and ignorance has been displayed. Trump was referring to the US automotive market. There are several definitions of a the word bloodbath, including: Substantial losses by many people, as in a mass termination of employment or widespread financial loss. "the sudden market drop created a bloodbath among overoptimistic investors" (The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition)
  3. Change the wifi name and password of the new router to match the wifi name and password of the old router.
  4. Sheryl, there should be one point in your system that your ground is attached to the neutral. I believe this is called bonding. I have seen cases of fluorescent lights glowing because some "electrician" decided that there should be additional bonding points in other parts of the system. Normally, the bonding should only occur within the main box and nowhere else in the system. Multiple bonding points within the same system can cause weird stuff to happen, including glowing fluorescent lights that have already been turned off.
  5. I still remember the last part of the AM radio jingle from back then: "Honda prices start about two-fifteen ($) Go little Honda, go little Honda You meet the nicest people on a Honda." Anyone else remember that? I would have been about 10 or 11 years old then. I could walk to the Honda shop in 10 minutes from our house. $215 was the Super Cub price. As far as the dealer prices in Thailand, in the last 12 years, I have bought at least 8 new motorbikes or scooters in Thailand, at dealerships, and never paid more than the listed MSRP. Paid cash every time. But none of those bikes were purchased in a large city, other than my last purchase, which was a new Suzuki purchased in downtown Phuket. I also paid MSRP for that one. Maybe because Suzukis are not so popular in Thailand.
  6. I have gotten 2 different packages from those guys. Both were well below my expectations. Will not order from them again.
  7. https://calgary.citynews.ca/video/2024/01/12/gas-pumps-freeze-at-calgary-gas-stations/
  8. Interesting and very informative video about the pros and cons of hydrogen usage. Hydrogen seems to be an impractical solution for privately owned vehicles. This lady is pretty damn smart.
  9. The price of the Yamaha PG-1 is exactly ฿20000 less than the Honda CT125.
  10. Here is an informative article about the Tesla products at the motor show including a paragraph about the Tesla Optimus robot on display.
  11. There is a Cybertruck page on the Tesla Thailand website. Lots of information there, but up to now, there is no option to order one. With Thailand being a huge market for pickup trucks, the Cybertruck will likely be available here later.
  12. One major difference is the presence of an actual upper triple-tree on the forks. If you look under the fork plastic, you can see the Waves and Finns only have the lower, no upper. Papa come down to Phuket. I will let you blast around on my Suzuki and feel the difference.
  13. It's on the Yamaha Thai website now at 64,900฿.
  14. I received the same email, so I went into my Wise app to read the notifications, but all they wanted from me was to verify my Thai address. I did that and now they are happy again. No other questions at all. I normally send $1000US each time. Never more than that. Once or twice a month.
  15. I already have a slightly modified Suzuki Raider J Crossover. It's pure fun. But I will be paying attention to the Yamaha PG-1 for sure.
  16. The prices on that page are listed in Canadian $.
  17. At Nong Khai, you can take the bus to Ban Phaeng. From there you can get a bus to Nakhon Phanom. I am sorry, but I do not know the bus schedule.
