  1. Use Free WPS for many years https://www.wps.com/
  2. at lease 2 years + sent so many other Drs test/scans etc, worst one was amlodipine, feet ankles legs hip so swollen ended up in a wheelchair for months "found the right one" back on the same one I had from 1970 so maybe these still trying to find a newer med for me
  3. YES Maybe the Dr will try different med's lisinopril diltiazem amlodipine benazepril 4 of many med's cannot take Myself have had all of these Blood Pressure Med's , had very bad side effects so taken off to try a different one by Doctors. = why I am back on the 53 year old Atenolol
  4. What I found over past 20 years appear to happen here that make difference...... Seen many Drs in Hospitals + Clinics over the years, Many Dr work x amount of time in a Big Private Hospital the other hours in Government Hospitals or Clinics..... = often totally different Med's available Another is the Dr and age group, the older Dr tends to give tried and tested med's. the younger ones are more likely give you new ones,,, a 60 year old Dr has maybe only read about some med's. the 20 something Dr was trained with the newer latest med's Eg: had a problem was taken to the local Hospital 2018 for 4 nights, list of all my daily med's 4 type of med's they did not stock. so given some different ones....... 2015 went with kidney failure to Red Cross for 5 nights, they have all med's....... 2004 Diabetic Dr at a local small private Hospital said goal = 130 reading....... The male older Diabetic Dr at Red Cross, got me to keep my Blood Sugar between 95 - 120 and adjust my Insulin to the reading,,,,,,,,,,, Because of Covid + the long trip to BKK, now use local Government Hospital, the much younger female Dr want me to keep the same units of Insulin each time + set the goal at 150 !!! Crazy every so often my BS will drop, no way with a reading of under 60 would I take take a full amount of Insulin [she was not even born when I was controlling Diabetics]
  5. Many thanks Others have also said timing when taking Med's.... evening is easy take Med's + Insulin + meal between 5:30 - 6 pm Morning come down toilet + Blood Sugar + Blood Pressure reading + Insulin + Med's + Breakfast...... what time ? when I wake up, yesterday + today was 4 am, mostly around 6:30.. Going back over my records find something never thought or connected before,, EVERY time I had a drop of BP in afternoons was when I woke up late... The day that it was so low 93/41 [reason for my post] I did not wake up to 9:45 = was after 10 am before Med's taken.. So maybe now have the reason ??
  6. as already said 7 hour ago 72
  7. Blood Sugar + Blood Pressure records plenty of room so why delete just fun sometime to look back over the years as said before 130/70 something has been average for a couple of years. that is why a sudden drop to 90/40 something is alarming for days on end.
  8. clinics and hospitals all over Thailand yes for sure, problem is most want you in and out as fast as possible, with 3 or more different tablets, so who can you discuss many problems with ? What Dr do you see ? Diabetic Dr, Blood Pressure Dr, CKD Dr ? Do all the Med's go together....... Most Dr appear to understand type 1 or 2 Diabetes and what to prescribe, but having Type Lada [1.5] = confusion
  9. Yes also keep a chart, can go back for last 10 years..... Also Dr wants to see this chart every visit..... Doing a average for the past 12 days of morning readings of this month = BS 109......... BP 137/71 + Pulse 70
  10. Atenolol appears to be one Med I can take without bad side effects........ Yes Dr say it is a very old Med and new one are better, but get serious side effects [have a list of 8 newer? BP meds cannot take] so end up back on Atenolol
  11. Yes white coat syndrome is a problem.... always get checked 1st + many times so say high = porter arrives with a bed wheeled into a ward with loads of others with so say high BP test + often must have 2x BP tablets [no idea what they are white and square] Alway take a print out of my BS + BP daily tests at home........ was told last April to take the BP Med's before the Hospital Blood work Visits so last visit was not carted off for an hour. Yes 72 years so being unsteady is not good, last year had a fall in the garden 12 stiches to top of head
  12. History any advise please still another 3 weeks till my 3 monthly hospital appointment last 4 days have a problem between midday to 6 pm .. feel light headed. Spinning dizzy, fussy and fear of falling blurred almost passing out. BP reading down to 90/40 something....... Since last Hospital Visit 1st July had 16 sudden BP drops morning around the same 130/70 something every morning At Present Prescription Hydraiazine HCl 25 MG 1x mornings [reduced from 4x day on last visit ] Lo-Sar-Tan 100 MG 1 x evening meal Atenolol 25 MG 1 Mornings [reduced from 50 mg last visit] Zosin 2 MG 1 x Breakfast + 1 x evening meal [self reduced to 1x mornings end July] found a Prescription dating March 2000 Atenolol 50 MG 1 x day + Gliclazide 80 MG 2 x day had this for many years, 2015 went Government Hospital {Red Cross}... every visit was a different Dr + new Med's [many problems and bad reactions] ended up with same Diabetic Dr for 3 years all good BP Med's Atenolol 25 MG mornings + Lo-Sar-Tan 100 MG 1 x evening meal >>>> then came Covid 19 no longer felt safe with over 2 hr public transport each way to the overcrowded Hospital = been using local Hospital 10 mins away.......... again different Dr's + different ideas of what is best Please any advise how to stop these lows......... Reduce Med's which one ? The only thing I know is Atenolol 25 MG = heart rate 60 something but Atenolol 50 MG = heart rate 50 something
  13. Depends what you are looking to buy..... Many Thais buy New and keep there cars for 10 + years = you buy a 1 owner, 1 driver car..... my 2nd car here was a 10 year old Audi A6, and I sold it 10 years later, so was 20 years old.... Next door bought a Corolla in 1999, the changed it in 2020 for a Nissan Note, will they keep that for 20 years ? We also have a pickup normally sell around 300,000 km, the 1999 Isuzu Dragon Power SLX pickup had 460,000 km on the clock, the next D-Max had 300k, the Mazda had 300k the present Ford Ranger has 320k so far,, Friend in the Village their Son bought a 1 owner 1996 BMW 518 was very good car, he wanted something newer with more power so bought a BMW 523i 2004 = nothing but problem almost every week was being fixed.. managed to sell and now has is Dads 1 owner 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo
  14. Yes the Kia maybe a import, no idea he is in the Motor trade for past 40 odd years Teslas no idea they have a big showroom + workshop in the next Soi [Bang Yai area]
  15. Monday outside the Bank the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV on red plates [white with Black top] had never seen this model before. front looked bad the lights were very large saucers set in to the body looked odd.... Last week noticed a odd looking Mazda CX30 on it said MX30 on red plates [Hybrid ?] No idea about the Kia = Not seen it yet only what he said, Hybrid top model 1,64 million [ he bought it last month = he buys New every 2 years does very high km ]
  16. SUV sold here GWM Jolion PHEV top model is just under 1 million Toyota Corolla Cross PHEV top model is 1,2 million MG PHEV top model is 1,3 million Mazda CX - 60 PHEV top model is just over 2 million Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV top model is 1,75 million Kia Niro PHEV top model is 1,64 million [Friend here Thai bought one last month] of course there are plenty of high end cars here...
  17. Had a fall in my garden, went to the local Government Hospital emergency room.. all sorted cleaned and 12 stiches later on the top of my head = total cost 250 baht - new Dressings cost 75 - 150 baht per visit x 4 - . Stiches out was 200 baht.. Last time I went to a international hospital here was 2004..... get the same service at a fraction of the price at a Government Hospital........ being older and hopefully wiser last time went to a Clinic was 2014....... of course there is a PLUS side = there maybe a person or 2 also waiting in front of you...... Government Hospital plan on a hour or 3 waiting time

    Large size shoe

The mind boggles ... 4242b for a pair of leather slip-ons !! with hope they fit !! my present pair of leather slip-ons = 100% fits correctly as they were hand made, a mould is taken of each foot + weeks later a fitting was given, total cost 3,000 baht. my Leather Sandals cost 2,700 also hand made.. = downside take around 11 - 12 weeks before there ready. Living here 18 years + 13 years in Portugal, gave up many moons ago trying to buy of the shelve size 47
  21. When I used to go there, also used from BKK the night VIP Bus, arriving at Bus station would get the local bus to the Boarder = there maybe a lot of people waiting to do Thai Passport Control , then get the Bridge bus then take a Tuk Tuk to the consulate The problem with the international bus = will not wait a long time for you to do Passport Controls [getting Visa for Laos] + back then was much cheaper to get $ US from the BKK Bus Station then paying in Baht.. + the international bus takes you to the Bus Station, so you still have to take a Tuk Tuk back to the consulate.... I once made a mistake in booking the Day VIP Bus back to BKK stayed 2 nights in Savannakhet = had to hitch a ride across Bridge, then hitch another to Bus Station. Bridge/Passport Controls DID NOT Open for foot people until the Bus to BKK would have left. = had to hitch in goods vehicles
  22. Found awhile ago..... if nothing appears to happen when you sign in or error, if you refresh the browsers page you are signed in,,,,, use google
  23. Some people just want to dice with death/ use shortest route..... BKK Rama 4 = Red Cross Hospital = Stairs + Moving Stairs + Lift to walkway over a number of roads ALL under cover to all sides of each road + to Metro + to BTS + to Central Mall... about 30 meters west is a foot bridge, goes over all 8 lanes to the row of Pharmacies.......... have sat many times outside waiting for Dr appointment [Blood work 07:30 wait for Dr 10:30] simply 100's of people try to dodge the traffic to cross all 8 lanes + seen a lot of near miss over the years,,,,,,,,,,, also most of these people have come out of the Hospital gates !!!
  24. If you or a Thai driver stops then the motorbikes will pass on both sides, a few People have been mowed down on a Zebra crossing and some killed from motorbikes
  25. Likewise my mask is firmly fitted, even if I go out to the gate for post/deliveries Covid is far from over... 3 weeks ago a old Lady in the Village got it, she has been in Hospital for last 2 weeks, she never goes out + in wheelchair for past 2 years..... another Lady around 50 got it 3 days ago, yesterday another young Lady she is 21 has it... Village is out in the sticks 66 detached houses 4 of these are empty So for me is worrying, as cannot have the Vaccine + I'm classed as high risk
