Depend what Hospital is used. for years only use Government Hospital and getting my med's there are cheaper Have looked many times over the years places like the 'cheap' Pharmacies on Rama 4 in BKK, there still more expensive than the Government Hospital Pharmacy.... Also where I live NO Pharmacy sells Insulin...... There are advances to a Pharmacy, 3 different tablets I take you can get the mg I need, the Government Hospital only has one type... = Dr Prescription 25 mg per day - Hospital only has 100 mg not that easy cutting a tablet into 4, the other 2 types is only cutting once.

Been taking High B P Med's for over 30 years, suddenly started dropping. Dr reduced Losartan 100mg per day to 50 mg in Feb. last week reduced them again to 25 mg per day Age 74, last week at Hospital reading 109/61.......... take at home every day anyway, next appointment end Jan

What’s needed to buy car in Thailand
ignis replied to WilliamCave's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
2004 went to Immigration for Certificate of Residence what a performance and silly copy after copy of paperwork would then only send it + took 3 weeks Never been there again, since then always see my local 'Head Man' we go to the town hall and get the Certificate simple no waiting no money, I have been on the Amphur Computer since 2004, so every time I need a new Certificate they simply bring up my file change the date > print > take to Boss = signed and big red seal stamp... have in my hand within 30 mins Likewise last time went to Nonthaburi DLT was 2008 = all day job, now just drive out into the sticks to a DLT, easy simple eg: last renewed DL there were 5 people there in & out in less then 1 hour with new licence in hand. -
As a youngster to be clean shaven was at least twice a day shave Past 50 years have a Goatee = past few years just need to shave the non hair bits once a week

Yet again Hospital yesterday BP to low 95/56 pulse rate 98 + loads of tests X-rays/ECG/EKG = heart is fine, lunges fine... some blood sent to a different Hospital for test [don't do these test at my Village Hospital] so must go back next Friday, Kidney function dropped alarmingly in 14 days = take NO BP meds for a week + wait for blood work back for different Hospital Dr suggests to change Insulin to 'glargine Insulin' my Hospital don't have change Metformin 850mg to '1000 mg XR' my Hospital don't have Must try to find a Pharmacy that stocks it myself + see price.. Used to go to Chula [Red Cross] but Covid + 2 hours each way on Public Transport + all day at a crowded Hospital made me change to the Local Government Hospital...

If Thailand refused you, where would you live? And why?
ignis replied to sidjameson's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
If it on a Holiday Park then there licence is around 9 - 10 months a year.. with a Static Home there is different places = Private land or 'Residential park' [365 days] or 'holiday park' [9 - 10 months] Static Homes are built very different than Holiday homes -

likewise Philippines maybe as would be better off. No frozen UK Pensions... Old people care home back in UK ? Portugal lived there for years, just to expensive now... so that leaves Malta or Croatia, been many times years ago.. in 2 months been here 20 years and no willing/wish plan to move -
Not sure if normal.... Last Friday Dr cut out BP Med's for 14 days, so Thursday last week was the last of BP Med's Form then went up every day to Wednesday was 190/95 + good with Pulse rate going up every day. Thursday 167/85 with Pulse 80 this morning 155/84 with Pulse 81... makes me wonder why I have been subscribed 2 or 3 different High Blood Pressure pills every day for over 30 years ?

1. If I install the apps on a spare phone which will never leave my property does it have to have a sim in it? 2. If it does - does the sim only have to be in for the set up and installation of the app or does it always have to be in the phone (ie can the app be used over WIFI). My SCB bank app is on my spare phone To pay my AIS + Electric + water bills every month simple take the sim out of my everyday Smartphone put in the spare phone for 10 mins pay bills done not sure now a day you used to be able to get a 2nd 'Clone' sim card Another thing to remember is the Bank App will only install on Android 10 or above, so if you have a old smartphone with lower that Android 10 the app will not install

Many thanks.. yes my arm band is large or maybe that should be my upper arms are not large... 1st thing in the morning sit in chair at table for 7 - 10 mins, then take my BP, as Dr advised years ago take 2 or 3 readings and take the average reading............. the only other time I will take a reading is if I feel light headed, blurred dizzy later in the day then will check BP 1st, if OK then check the BS reading No idea if I have seen a cardiologist at anytime , have had a Body MRI 2020. as well as a brain MRI

As said in my 1st post "last year Pulse average was 72" [has been around this for years] it is only now this year that the resting heart rate has dropped to low 50's

Blood pressure I take at home every morning for past 10 + years, same as FBS for even more years. Yearly Blood test = NO drink of any kind / No food from 8 pm the evening before Friend took me by car the 6 km to Hospital..... seeing some pretty fit nurse ?? don't go to same hospital as you, most are 45 + My Blood Pressure readings were taken 6 times over 5 hours at the hospital My Omron Blood Pressure Monitor was a lot more expensive than that My hospital for years has accepted my own daily readings and monthly averages, I take a printout every visit
