Exactly my point. TDAC is a useless waste of time and resources, particularly for long-term expats. Before hordes of people tell me how easy it is, it took me hours trying to do it on a slow internet connection in Spain on a very old phone. It would not allow me to input my Thai phone number but was happy with a bogus UK one.

I'm going to have to do this in 3 months. It outrages me that expats buy an annual 'Visa' (in my case by keeping 800K in a Thai bank at pathetic interest rates!) I buy a multi-re-entry permit; I fill in the ludicrously unnecessary TDAC form using the SAME information I have been photocopying 2 or 3 times a year at the same office for over 20 YEARS!!! YES the system is much more streamlined now (I can remember queuing at 7.15 before Immigration opened.) Few of the above posters, praising the system in minutes rather than hours, do not include the extra cost of travel and time. I'm 83 and can foresee much more difficult journeys ahead.

1st you need a police force. There's a woman who parks her motor bike every day causing traffic chaos at Mike's Shopping Mall entrance on 2nd Road. She sells contraband cigarettes.
